    Should I assume that Todd is the landlord? You mentioned that your roommate was supposed to post flyers; how many people live there?

     

    Anyway, if Todd has to rent out the house (which I assume means that you would have to move out), I am in need of a housemate. I am just like you in the statement quoted above.

    Stupidass in a little black car on Dallas/Acworth passed NUMEROUS cars on a DOUBLE YELLOW - stupidass even tried to pass a school bus - :glare:

    Not only are you trying to attract the attention of some MORE backyard breeders, but you are also trying to get someone to breed your ugly Golden Retrievers. Now, don't get me wrong. The dogs are pretty. But for the breed, people with the mentality like yours, and those who do breed their poorly bred ugly Goldens are RUINING the breed!

     

    I have never seen so many ugly Goldens like I see nowadays. I'm not saying the dogs are ugly, but for Goldens they're ugly.

     

    This is the biggest problem in the pet world today. You think because you have two dogs of the same breed, it's o.k. to breed them and add to the population problem. There is a reason there are reputable breeders. The reason is...they are BETTERING the breed, they are trying to keep the breed looking like the standard. Then people, like you, go behind them, and mess up what they're trying hard to accomplish.

     

    I'm not a breeder, never will be, don't have the time, energy or desire when I know there are so many that are homeless in kill shelters and so on.

     

    Get her spayed, get him neutered, THEN rehome them! Or like the other person suggested....contact Golden Rescue. They'll probably be full though...irresponsible owners and careless breeders are helping to keep all teh shelters full.

    To be honest, I wouldn't have bid on it for that reason alone. I'm keeping away from sellers who charge outrageous prices for shipping. I have no problem with someone charging enough to cover shipping and supplies, but there are *lots* of sellers now who are just waaay out-of-line with their fees, and they don't get my business.

     

     

    I'd agree with that - but then again, I've never purchased anything fragile on ebay.... so, as long as it is WELL packaged, I'd survive, but I do think $30 is WAY more than needed - but hey, someone disagreed with us Rio!

     

    I will also not bid on anything that doesn't have the shipping $ listed.
