For example this year, you could push back the start date 2 weeks to August 17 and push back the end date two weeks to the second Friday in June, without even changing any of the Sept., Nov. and Feb. break days. If you factor in those extra 13 days, they could be added as 8 in the beginning and 5 on the end, which would give you a start date of Aug. 29 (the Monday before Labor Day) and an end date of the first Friday in June (the Friday after Memorial Day). This schedule would give you just about the "olden days" schedule. You would have 2 days at Thanksgiving, 2 weeks at Christmas and

  6. I believe that part of the idea for putting the tag office on the third floor had to do with the amount of money in that office on a daily basis and making it theoretically a less enticing theft target. I don't know if the logic was correct, but that was at least part of the thinking.
