Pretty standard fair in the Georgia High School Association, GHSA. It has been that way for years. When my son was at Riverside Military they were part of the Independent High School Association. His junior year they switched the the GHSA and had to quit having an organized prayer before the game. The team said a prayer. The band said a prayer. Many parents said a prayer, especially if the other team was full of 350 pound monsters. But the school could not have the chaplain say a prayer.

True on some levels. It's hot a MOFO in Paris in July and humid. Southern Germany/Bavaria is the same way. There is no reason for them not to have AC, but most don't. Agreed it is more of a cultural thing but to GaDawgs point, to all of a sudden now to start tooting their horns and claiming they are green and charging a little more because of it. I read about the Stanford study elsewhere and agree with it. It is marketing. Plain and simple. It's just like Kroger making a big deal about going green. No they are not. Those plastic bags cost them millions of dollars a year. They are looking out for their bottom line. It's what companies do. It's what they are supposed to do. Free market system in all its glory. Going through insurance because I had not met my deductible yet, they wanted $985 for it. I bought this one on Amazon for $180. THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH HEALTH CARE IN THIS COUNTRY!!

I was just walking through the yard. So there, I got you beat! Welcome to my world for the past 5 weeks, I have 2 weeks to go before I can start putting weight on it. This has been my mode of transportation for the past 5 weeks.

My foot is all swolly now. Sitting in my Lazy Boy with it propped up. It just feels good to be of some use again. Counting the days until the 21st when I can start weight bearing again. Hobbling around on this little knee walker is REALLY getting old. I can't even carry a glass or a plate from point A to point B. I can't WAIT to get back in our kitchen and cook for Blondie again! I love to cook.

Most companies don't micro manage every little detail like a school board does. Plus most of them have an inkling of common sense.

Dumbest show I have ever seen. Maybe it's because I'm too old and don't get it. I didn't even give it a chuckle. We go in after hours and pee on them to mark them as ours. It's very primal.

My son was in a fender bender in Atlanta. He has to do 8 hours community service in Atlanta. He has to go through the MADD course, one more course that he has already completed. He has to pay for both of them at $45 each class. He also has to take a defensive driving course at his cost $150 maybe? IDK. This was for bumping the car in front of him. No damage to either car. He goes back to court on Dec. 16. The judge told him that if he showed up for court and all was not completed, don't bring excuses, bring a toothbrush. I'm pretty sure he meant it.
