I drink 16 y/o Lagavulin. It is a Islay single malt. Very smokey. Wonderful with a Punch Rare Coroho. Most of the Demos I know drink that Johnny Walker crap.

Nothing worse than cheap liberal scotch.

Mikey got a concussion today.

Like the late, great Lewis Grizzard once said, "Damn brother, I don't believe I'd a told that."

All the whining about the non-union refs and dang if the "self proclaimed experts" didn't blow a game.

You're right. Those are great stats.

Spent the day cutting, splitting and stacking firewood. Good time to do some pondering and wondered how long we could survive with no amenities. I now have enough firewood ready to heat my house all winter if needed. I can also cook on the wood burning heater if necessary. I also keep a good supply of drinking water, canned and dried and frozen vegetables and meat. I also have a garden with fresh greens, salad and other vegetables as well as a pond with plenty of fish and turtles. We have a good herd of deer and other wildlife such as squirrels if we needed fresh meat. I have no

That and what trucking difference does it make. Pcom is about to be like the Democrats. Just wishing they had anyone to pay anything. Start cracking the whip on paying customers and they will leave. -
I paid $179 for mine a couple of years ago. They have gone out the roof. I saw the same gun, an LCP .380 at the Sports place in Hiram for more than $350. Check Adventure Outdoor.

Pre-2001 I would have agreed with you 100%. Fortunately I needed to cash in some stocks in the spring of 2001 to purchase a piece of real estate we had been wanting so just by shear luck we missed what would have been a substantial loss. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination and hope that anyone thinking about investing in anything would talk to an expert. It is money well spent.

I've been there for a few months now. Contrary to popular belief in these parts, I was never that confident in Romney or the voters. Be ready to not make any money, but it is better than watching it vaporize.

Pubby, I can't stomach the right wing crap any better than the left wing bullcheeze. But this ain't no time to be bargain hunting for stock in my opinion. I'm not a risky investor by any means, although when Delta tanked I had the idea that the government would back them to the end and if the government failed it wouldn't matter anyway. That was a good buy. At this time, I feel like the government can fail. I'm all out. I'm good in this bubble. But I hope you are right. I hope in four years you can tell me "I told you so" instead of me telling you (because you know I will

I have a feeling the market isn't going to run off and leave you between now and the first of next year. I would love to be wrong about that.

Sore winner. These guys won the election but they are not going to be happy until we all start worshiping their beloved leader. And that sheeze ain't about to happen with this angry white man (who is actually not really white at all).

I have said over and over. The only thing that sucked worse than Mitt Romney is Barry Obama. I have to wonder how many people that voted for Obama even own any stock. Call it what you want, but to advise someone to buy up stock at this time is bad advise. This isn't going to be a roller coaster ride, this is going to be a crash. Call it gloom and doom if you want, but what we are about to get out of Washington is going to be another one of their band aids and the real investors smell it coming. That's why the market is going down. I hope I am wrong but I'm not willing to bet the

So who got the rest of the pack?

Yep. Cigarettes killed my uncle. Took them 92 years, but they finally got his butt.

I like this commercial. Clay Matthews is one of my favorite NFLers. Haverty's are the best. Especially the new Veteran's Day commercial. http://www.havertys.com/View_CurrentAd

I would blend it into some dog food a little at a time. Too much at once might cause diarrhea.

I don't know if you noticed or not, but the market had been in a steady climb in the months leading up to the election (at least my stocks had been improving). The reason was that everyone was relatively sure we were going to be rid of Obama. The day after the election it started a downward swirl like a turd in a toilet bowl. As for this getting better overnight bullcheeze. Four years isn't overnight. Eight years is an eternity in the stock market. Your financial advice is about as good as your political advice. You would be better off to stick your money up a hog's ass and yell s

I have a group of guys that hang or slide on the side of high rises. This is what I did when I started in the business. It was normal for someone to come in toasted on alcohol or weed, sometimes more. Now we drug test these guys 3 or four times a year. Just happened to have a pee fest Friday. Our safety program requires it, but our insurance company audits us.

I was a hippie but I never understood tattoos. I would have been more likely to have had an ear ring than a tattoo. I never had either. Had waist length hair until I decided to start working my way up the corporate ladder. Heck, after this election I wouldn't rule out the tattooed lady from the fair being elected.
