  1. I had a guy that played that blocking game for about 5 miles on Thornton Road one day. I finally got a few inches of space and put it in front of him so that all he could see was the ass end of a Dodge Ram with diesel smoke belching at him. I thought the SOB was going to have a stroke. He called me everything but an indian boy. Before I was out of site he was playing the blocking game with another car.
  2. There are some really nice finishes on some difficult architectural details. I would like to know who built it. Not my taste, but I can appreciate the craftsmanship.
  3. I will Glen. Now it looks like I am going to have to use it as is again next week. I am slammed with bids and can't live without it. BTW, will it cut my grass once you fix it?
  4. I used to do this stuff but I just don't have the time or patience to do it any more. I have been looking at the Macs for a couple of months now. Since I spend a large portion of my time reviewing drawings and I hear the Macs do a better job with the huge files of digital "blueprints" we deal with now.
  5. Just get Andrew Zimmern to eat the baby otter nuts. You know he will.
  6. While we're at it lets stop clubbing cows. A cow should have the same constitutional rights as a seal or otter. Besides, I hear otter tastes just like chicken.
  7. Thanks. I had completely forgotten that he did that.
  8. I apparently have a virus on my computer that makes a pop up window come on my screen every few minutes. I have been fighting through it for about three weeks because I have been too busy to try to fix it. Anyone know anything about it or who does this kind of work? BTW, it says something about allowing a change to my computer, but the controls on the pop up are dead. Clicking on any of the buttons does nothing.
  9. I seriously doubt that those tanks held potable drinking water. Those are used for the collection of rain water used for irrigation and possibly flushing toilets.
  10. What happens if the truck is totaled in two months? Do you have to buy another one and pay the tax all over again?
  11. I saw BB with Derick Trucks at Chastain back in the summer. BB at 87 years old was doing good to get out on stage. I was half way expecting similar behavior from Buddy Guy. I was pleasantly surprised by his youthfulness at 76 and when he showed up beside me in the nosebleed seats I was more than impressed.
  12. Damn right I've got the blues!
  13. There are ways around some of that. For starters, would this not be taxed as capital gains at 15% or 18%? Second, if she buys the house as an investment property and lets her daughter live in it for the cost of property taxes? Not that I don't agree with socking it away, but a quarter of a mil is a decent little piece of change.
  14. I couldn't believe he didn't do that song last night. I saw him at the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the show was much better than last night. I wanted to hear Little Schoolgirl.
  15. You forgot to mention Hendrix. My favorite part of the night was when Buddy broke into a little VooDoo Chile. I have seen performers come down off the stage. I have NEVER seen a performer go up to the balcony level. He never stopped playing that guitar. Well worth the sleep deprivation to be able to see a legend. Now I'm hoping he opens that blues club here.
  16. Physical therapy might help. Worked for me.
  17. Thanks for that info. I need to empty my boat and fill up with this stuff. $3.99 x 52 gallons. Ouch!
  18. There's a pecker joke in there somewhere.
  19. I had rather camp in my backyard for a week than to be held hostage on one of these nasty tubs.
  20. I'll be glad when someone invents the e-beer. Buzz, flavor with no calories. Might as well have some e-BBQ too.
