For starters, the parents should be looked at a little closer after having allowed the kid to be tattooed and have a grill at the age of 17. Tells me there wasn't much hope to change the kid. And just to re-direct your evasiveness, he wasn't killed for selling pot, smoking pot, stealing or spray painting. He was killed because he made another human being fear for his life. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. And he WAS violent. The night he was shot he was violent.

I had a gut feeling about the cops that killed the old black lady in Atlanta and I was called everything but a half-breed indian boy here on p.com. BUT, I was right. I have had the same gut feeling about this case, only this time I think the police got it right. Last time I was a cop hater, this time I am a racist. The only common denominator is that there are a lot of ignorant people on p.com that form there opinions based on what the media feeds them.

So if the protestors at the Georgia Capitol get their way, all we can do is watch them carry off our stuff or lay there and let them beat the hell out of us. Start emailing your senator and house rep now. We need to let them know that WE don't want the "No Duty To Retreat" law changed. We should have the right to protect ourselves and our property against predators without fear of being prosecuted.

There are two types of tomatoes. Determinate and indeterminate. Determinate will have one good crop. These are used by people who can the tomatoes. Indeterminate will bear fruit all season. Some of my favorite are Rutgers (determinate) and Beefsteak (indeterminate. Also Goliath Giants are amazing. I grow them in raised beds with a blend of bagged top soil and mushroom compost. Really? Have you ever been in a similar situation? It was dark, they were probably unarmed, they didn't know who was screaming for help? I can think of many reasons not to go running into that.

What you and a few others don't seem to get is I am not defending Zimmerman. I'm just not falling for the "poor black child" routine.
