I disagree. I see it as a grown man that killed a kid.

Hauling tourist from downtown and Centennial Park to the 'hood. I guess it got to be too much work to have to walk the 1.3 miles to mug a tourist.

Again, I DON'T CARE! It IS exactly the same thing as a bratty-assed kid. They are being rewarded for disrupting the peace or for threatening to damage something. I have always treated everyone EQUAL. The problem is a lot of black civil rights people don't want EQUAL treatment, they want SPECIAL treatment. I don't give special treatment. Either get with the program or get out of the way.

I disagree. If black folks are putting that much confidence into a justice system they probably need to get used to being equal. We all get crapped on by the justice system or some other form of government every.freakin.day. It is just life. You don't see white folks taking to the streets, chanting some ridiculous cadence, just because a court case didn't go exactly our way. In this case the shooter is going to be in prison for the rest of his life. Maybe the parents need the murder conviction for closure. I don't care either way. I am just tired of everyone being so intimidated by

Didn't mean to insult you. Looks like an exciting sport. (Okay, that was an insult).

I agree. But you know Al and Jessie will turn this tragedy into a fund raiser for themselves.

I would have killed the son of a bitch before he ever made it to court. I wouldn't have relied on the justice system to provide revenge. But I do see where you are going with this. Bottom line is that if the re-trial is done according to law and not done to appease a bunch of protesters, then I don't have any real issues with it.

Really? I would have sworn it was stoned, not drunk.

I'm not sure where Curling originated, but I'm betting marijuana was involved.

MARTA station. I'm kidding. I think it is parking. I could be wrong.

Most of this is Obama money. And they are doing something similar in Portland, Oregon and Austin, Texas. Just goes to show, Obama can't buy votes by paying down debt.

I thought the title was a little misleading.

Who is Ellen Page?

You forgot IN THE CLOAK OF DARKNESS. I like that one. It's so dramatic.

The City of Atlanta is spending $94 Mllion for 1.3 miles of street car track and four street cars. And that doesn't include operating costs and maintenance. http://reason.org/blog/show/atlanta-streetcar-costs-increase-by

So now Bill Heath is opening a strip joint? I thought he was gay. -
I have been thinking about this joke since I saw the post yesterday.

Former Atlanta Public Schools Human Resources chief plead guilty to lesser charges and will in return testify against Beverly Hall. I hope it happens before Hall dies or spends all the money on vacations to Hawaii. Has there been a non-corrupt person working for the City of Atlanta since Maynard Jackson was first elected? I don't think so. These people act like a bunch of wild animals at feeding time.

Upon further review I think I should recant my original statement concerning this case. The guy can't walk out of prison until he is 107 years old as it stands. That IS justice. What difference does it make what the convictions are for as long as the criminal is being punished appropriately? I can't see wasting more taxpayer money to get the murder conviction. It just isn't going to effect the punishment. And if it is just another case of appeasing a bunch of protesters, I say that someone needs to grow a set and stop being intimidated by these antics. Justice was served. The shoo

Oh hell! Al and Jessie are fueling up their private jets as we speak. Haven't had a good fund raiser since Trayvon.

You were probably in the wrong part of Jacksonville. I spent a week there in November taking a re-certification class and I loved the place. Tons of great restaurants, microbreweries everywhere, really nice beach community. Definitely one of my favorite Florida destinations. Not really saying a lot because I really hate Florida. But nonetheless, Jacksonville is a great town.

Of all the responses and arguments to this "coming out" thing, your post makes the most sense. I agree with you 100%.

I don't care for that kind of music either. I don't care for country music either. Wouldn't shoot someone over music. I hope nobody ever shoots any of my grand kids over their music. I think this guy should have been found guilty.

Same name. About the only thing that has changed is that when I joined everyone thought I was an @$$hole. I'm pretty sure nobody "thinks" that any more. <<<<<grin>>>>>
