    When you go to the post office, they can explain your options. When I renewed mine, it took about 3 weeks with no expediting. There is a link you can click on the passport site to check your status. If you want to be confident you'll get it in plenty of time, expedite it.

    Well said, cherokeewoman. I also want the government out of my life. They should stick with the basics and get out of of healthcare and all the other social engineering and income redistribution programs.

    I have Cooper Tires on my 97 Crown Victoria and on my 67 Dodge Coronet. I am very pleased with them and am glad I bought them. HVAC was for his house or business, right. Sure as heck wasn't for the car.

    I just bought it and spent some time cleaning and polishing it to my standards. I have been detailing cars since I was a teenager - long time ago - I keep them lookin' good and they treat me well. I am an amateur compared to Russell.

    Russell tinted my windows for me. He is one guy you can trust to do the job to the customer's satisfaction. I recommend Russell and Diane to everyone. That's my new little run around car - a 2011 Ford Fiesta with a 5-speed manual tranny. Fun, fun, fun to drive.

    Exactly! I think you can buy it and drive it home with the bill of sale and signed title. But, you had better go to the tag office ASAP. I usually let the new owner return my tag just so there are no problems. I've never had a problem yet.

    It is state wide. You basically have to register the car within 7 days of purchase. Why anyone would ask for a temporay tag is beyond me. Just get a permanent one and be done with it.
