  1. Well folks, I knew we lived in wonderful county, but tonight you pulled together and out did yourselves. Like I said in the PM to Erin, we are truly blessed to live in a county where people can come together and help those in need. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Now for the big news, tonight we were able to collect $1,845.00 to help with the funeral costs for TaTa. The money will either be taken to the school in the morning or we will get it to TaTa's mom tomorrow. Folks, we had people dropping by that had just heard or seen the info and were giving money. We've got
  2. Pcommers I wanted to let you know that Antavious (TaTa) Scudder passed away yesterday. I haven't heard any of the arrangements, but as soon as we get them we'll pass them along. TaTa had been battling Leukemia for about a year now. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Thank you EPHS community for your continued prayers and support. Thanks to everyone else who has lifted TaTa and his family up during this time. Please continue to remember the family. God Bless you #33.
  3. Thanks Pubby I like it and so do my old eyes. All four of them.
  4. I didn't know Kim, but I remember this like it was only yesterday. And yes, every year her mom has put this article in the New Era. Hopefully it helps her deal with her loss in some way. What a tragic story.
  5. Patrick Bolans funeral notice is in the Marietta Daily Journal this morning. 50 years old, dang that is much to young. Mayes Ward/Dobbins is in charge of arrangements. No details on date and times.
  6. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Patrick Bolan. He was well known and well liked by East Paulding sports fans and coaches. I got to know Patrick in the last 5 years as he covered Paulding County sports for the Neighbor. Always got tickled with him as he would shuffle over to the scorers table after basketball games, notepad in hand, trying to get information. He was a good man and very kind to the people he came in contact with at the various sporting events he covered. We had wondered where Patrick had been this year. Thought he may have been transferred to another area or county
  7. Amen brother. We take so much for granted in our everyday hectic lives, never taking time to truly appreciate how blessed we are.
  8. How sad. I'm not a big Nascar fan, but I do know how important the Hendrick family has been to this sport. What a terrible tragedy, my thoughts and prayers go out to this family and others that were lost in the plane crash.
  9. My goodness, I went thru the nervous shakes when I couldn't log on early this morning. cardie I don't partake of alcoholic beverages, so I'll need some additional support. Does anyone have any pressure treated lumber?
  10. Joe Sorry for your loss, you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
  11. markdavd I also had the same thoughts about the Fathers Day message Brian and John shared with us. These two men were beaming as they shared the pulpit and message. I was shocked when I heard the news of Johns passing last night. My prayers go out to the Bloye family. John you will be greatly missed by the members at WestRidge.
