  1. I met several of these rascals last weekend when cutting back my parents shrubbery. Needless to say they will not be getting Christmas cards from me this year.
  2. I was in Savannah a couple of weeks ago. Really enjoyed the day at Tybee. Very laid back. Tybee is about a 20 minute ride from Savannah. If you have time take in one of the tours of Savannah. If your going to Paula Deens restaurant, they take reservations for parties of 10 or more. If you have less than 10, they start taking names at 9:30 am for the evening meal that day. But you might want to get there before 9:30. I waited about 15 minutes. Get the buffet for $18. You won't be dissapointed and you can waddle back to the hotel after making a fool of yourself. The mac and cheese
  3. Oh LR loosen up those purse strings and go HD. I held out a long time but I'm glad I switched over to HD. It's the bombdiggity.
  4. Welcome to Paulding County. Hockey hasn't made it's way to Paulding just yet. The good news is that there is a good place for hockey in Cobb County that is pretty close. Here's a link. Icerforum
  5. I've been riding the SCT for 4 years and have never had any trouble. Folks need to use common sense and be aware of their surroundings. Stay in the higher traffic areas and go with somebody, especially the ladies.
  6. There is a paved bike path at Dellinger Park in Cartersville. Might not be quite as crowded at the SCT, but it does travel along the road in some spots. I ride the SCT often and yes there are some rude folks you may encounter every once in awhile, but the majority of the folks you meet are very friendly. You might want to try getting on at the Rambo Nursery Trailhead and go towards Rockmart, not near at crowded as some areas along the trail.
  7. The NCAA tournament pairings will be announced this evening. If your interested in joining our espn.com group send me your email and we will get the invitation sent. Let the madness begin.

  10. I've created a group on espn.com if anyone is interested in joining in on the basketball madness. You will need to register on espn.com, it is free. PM your email address and I will get invitations sent out. Come on, it's painless. The more the merrier.
  11. It was a great game. Great sportsmanship after the game as well. Class acts on both teams. I enjoyed the overtime period with the 4 on 4 play. Sure opened up the ice more for plays.
  12. I'm doing good. And thank you. You must be slippin in your old age cause you never let met slide before. How's the Munchkin doin? It looks like JH made the EP baseball team. I'm gonna try to get by and catch a game sometime this season. You do know I live in North Paulding Wolfpack territory now? But my Raider roots run deep.

  19. Glad you posted this markdavd. I've been out all day and haven't had the chance. Actually, my son and I had made it down to Woodward Academy around noon today to see the Hawks practice. Pulled in the parking lot and talked with a Hawks spokesperson and was given the news about Jason Collier. Of course the practice had been cancelled. For those that don't know, Jason played college ball at Georgia Tech after transferring from Indiana. His dad, Jeff, also played at Tech in the mid 70's. This was a fine young man and he leaves behind a wife and young child, also I heard that th

  22. Checks can either be made to Antavious Scudder or Stephanie Wallace, that's his mom. The bank has been very good about allowing these checks to go in the account either way.
