I am the baby in my family and I say DONT stop!!!! I love it. I would much rather have gifts than cash. My dad gives all of us gifts probably 5-8 gifts a piece plus one large present. I know the meaning of x-mas. It is not about that. It is about family bonding to me. I love the feeling of presents, decorations, holiday music, christmas trees,the memories,the dinner to follow, Church, etc. Cash is like giving a gift card. I do not know what it is about x-mas but if you walk in the door with nothing it just is so sad. (like you are forever gone out of their house) I am Just not into cash and g

Gurley just wrote me (bc we are best friends and all) See below: You may want to adjust your settings (under the "settings" tab once you log in) to receive only "advisories and traffic" to your cell phone via text messages. "Alerts" are automatically sent to your phone via text. This would eliminate the "community" messages from coming to your phone. You would still get those in your email to check later.
