So this is a Southern thing? lol I have always lived here but my family is not from here. I did not grow up with some of these terms going around. I asked my father to see what he would say and he had no clue what I was talking about. haha

Yep- I know how you feel. Mine is bipolar, depressed, and an alcholic and I swear over the years it has made her schizophrenia. I do not even know where my mom is. But I choose not to have her in my life at this point. It is easier to deal with bc I can not help her. People do not understand that unless they live it. Luckily I have a wonderful father who has always been there. But there is always that void. It is sad how many people do not have both parents because it is many! People who have both (sane) parents should be very thankful. I seriosly could count on one hand how many of my friends from even when I was in highschool (11years ago) who had both parents in their life. They either had passed away from something or they just were not in their childrens life. It is sad that children and adults do not have parents in their life. They are few and far between. Losing a parent to death is awful but these parents who chose other things over their children really need a reality check. Out of all of my current friends I know TWO people who have a healthy relationship
