I agree, with that said I think some people take things written in the bible too literally when to me forgive in the bible means to just let go- not to hold a grudge. Everyone has to let go at some point or it just consumes you.

To me I forgive if someone is sorry and they truly mean it. If someone is evil towards me over and over and never can admit it- I do not forgive people who do not want to be forgiven. I forgive easily and if I feel I did something wrong I always apologize and I mean it. There are not many people who do say they are sorry even for minor stuff. It baffles me. If someone can not say they are sorry then I do not owe them anything and I block them out of my life forever if they truly hurt me. I am done playing those games with people. They probably just paid it bc it is cheaper than going to court. It is good to document it though for the future. Because at that time you do not know how long they are going to say it hurts. I would only go to court if it went over all of my coverages and it was starting to hit me personally. It can be if you let it and/or until you exhaust all of your medical expenses, but in that case I would have disputted the charge. After all it is going on your record. You can dispute anything if you feel it in inaccurate. Some do it for the right reasons and some for the wrong. There are many people who try to take and get all they can. I am not saying your sister is or the lady is. I am just saying it happends all the time on both sides. her sister has the run down car and she got hit. the lady who hit her is or trying to take her sister to court over it and she wants to know why or how this happens.

They would do it to try to get money, which they more than likely wont. They will just waste everyones time. It was their fault- Unless they can prove that a person was never hurt (or as bad as they say) to recieve med expenses. Then that is a whole different story. Yes! I just want to say I am so very sorry for your cousin and everyone close to her. This is disease that not enough people know about. It honestly is one of the worst diseases I have ever seen. It goes so fast so cherish every moment you can. Tell them to take a few vacations now because they wont be able to soon. My FIL had it and they gave him two year and it was exaclty two years.
