  1. And it doesn't work! :nea:

Once upon a time I used the rock, only Tom's products, ate 100% organic and vegetarian, my kid was in Montessori school and wore the most beautiful patchwork clothes. Made my own baby food, my own organic cleaning products and I was a natural parent.

    Then I realized...it's really expensive.

Yeeeeeah, the 'hippie' stuff I do, I do because it's cheap. ^_^

  2. I've tried pretty much every brand they all STINK :bad: and even if I can tolerate it .. Hubby can't.

Oooooh, I love my Jergens Daily something or another natural glow. It's a tinted moisturizer that graduatlly gets darker, and it doesn't stink.

Atleast, I don't remember it stinking. I go naturally freckled/pale when it's cold.

  3. Any of the pcommers married to or sleeping with (preferable) firefighters.

    :p

I would be DJ Mark on a Friday night so I can sing the star spangled banner with out being booed or the mike being turned off.

    For just a day?

I'd be GEAgirl. ;) Oooor, Atlanta Rock Photography, because she just rocks.

  4. I've always been a talker - I prefer to talk things out and see all sides of things. Generally, even if I don't agree with it, I can see where the other person is coming from and why they feel the way they do. My feeling has always been that what's good for me may not be good for someone else...the world is made of many shades of grey. Things can always get heated. However, I'm open-minded and level-headed enough to not only keep my cool and view things from all angles but can generally convince the other person to atleast see the other side also. I also never go into an argument trying to change somebody's mind...just to get them to look at the situation differently.

  5. NOW that is news to me. If that were the case, then no one would have to get a permit to open carry.

Sorry, but I believe you are incorrect. Go walk into Walmart, Kroger in open carry and have the manager ask if you have a permit and you say, "I don't need one." Pauldings finest will haul you off to jail. Oh, and I do have a permit and I do carry as well. ;) But I don't open carry as it is not needed.

And as you said, GSP learned the hard way which means, you were in your vehicle in which no permit is needed as the firearm can be in the vehicle under the code procedures.

But as I say, I dare ya to go walk into a retail store in open carry and see what happens if the manager asks you for your permit. ;)

  6. Where is this place, I am in the market for a handgun.

Been up looking at where we are going to vacation this year....toss up so far between mountains and beach....so....Panama City Beach, or Gatliburg? I need to make a choice soon and make reservations!

    You too, eh?

After I started hitting up the range, I've been on the market for one. I have a friend looking, though, because I don't have time. :nea: After I saw how tight my shot grouping is, I became addicted.  Never would have guessed I'd be a natural shot - especially seeing as how I used to be scared to death of guns.

I hate the beach vs. mountain debate. This year, I'm doing both. Twice, actually. Most are for weddings though, so it doesn't really count.

  7. The past few months have been so close... And I don't really eat out much to speak of, I prefer to cook at home and eat several meals from one cooking as well... But despite that I was still VERY close to not making it. Luckily 19 hours of overtime plus a little bump in pay really helped pull me out of the hole. -_-

    Coupons, babe...coupons. ;)

sorry, i forgot the pic that goes along

    Kool-AidMan.jpg

    Kool-Aid dude rocks. ;)

  8. Indeed! ;)

I can safely say I am not going to starve now....  :p

Pft. I'm a coupon and grocery shop-a-holic...my poor kitchen is slap full of groceries at all times. However, if I can't cook it on Sunday and freeze it for the rest of the week, it's not going to get eaten. Midnight snacks are rare for me, although I did wind up with peanut butter and celery this week.

    oh yeaaaaaaaaaaa

    :o

  9. Still here and so far....staying out of trouble B)

Where's the fun in that? ;)

Nope none here----sorry or I would invite you over to share..but nope :nea: :( :)

I have heard to drink the juice and it would stop fast........Gosh I hate those things. And I am not quite with them at all. I am a screamer. Cant count the number of times I have woke up screaming "Oh help me Jesus"

I haven't had leg cramps since I was pregnant....unless I just had a good workout and didn't drink enough water, but that's to be expected.

Well, still working at Adventure Outdoors, but they bumped me up to the office so I am doing computer work... Entering orders, price changes etc... The boss and a couple of the other main guys took me with them to the Sports Inc. show in Phoenix at the end of last month to help entering orders of '09. B)

Arizona was great! Perfect weather, and it was flat in phoenix too, no hills to speak of.... Very interesting trip. B)

    Lucky you! :p

  10. I feel for you... That's gotta be hard.

As for me... I have been pretty busy myself, just got back from a business trip to Arizona (can't remember if I told you or not) been doing a lot more office work lately too, and thinkin about working towards starting something at home to make some extra cash...

Right now I am sitting here drinking beer, watching House, and eating midnight burgers... :p

You?! Business trip?!

What on earth are you doing now?

    I'm so lost.

I bet Arizona was awesome. I've always wanted to visit. And poo on you for watching House. I've missed the whole last season.

  11. Sounds like you have been having fun. :p

No time to be bored at least eh? ;)

Absolutely no time to be bored, no. :nea: I pay for cable, and haven't had time to watch a single damn show in the 6-7 weeks I've been here.

Is bread and butter pickles in the same vingear as the regular pickles? Cause the juice off them always taste more seet. Would that still work for leg cramps? Not that I have any--anyway ;)

    :o

You have bread and butter pickles?!?

I always ate bananas when I had leg cramps. :pardon:

  12. WTH??   :p

How have you been lately, it has been a while?

I have been in class (one of them, obviously, a government class), working non-stop, working on school stuff after 'real' work, and being a single mommy.

No time for play. :nea: Tonight, though, I'm battling a study guide for a mid-term. The question I posed for you was actually an easy answer...but I work at the college, and it's a college related answer. :pardon:

ME, ME ! Only cause my son just threw up everywhere and because I was about to get a leg cramp and tried to open the pickel jar to drink the juice and now am wide awake fighting a jar---( I never did get open)  =@

Oh, I have been craving bread and butter pickles for three days. THREE DAYS. <_<

Remind me to go to the store in the morning.

  13. I'm so happy things are working out for you..minus the health issue. I'm waiting for you to get here right now so the little one can spend the night. my girls are excited and you get the night off. see this is what good friends are for. you need to rest..though i know you wont..stinker

I know, you rock. We should trade the girls off more often...I'm sure my downstairs neighbor is going to love it.

You're right though - I won't rest. I have study guides and a mid-term to work on.

I'm glad everything else is going good for you. As far as the gallbladder- that mess is worse than child birth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's an outpatient surgery and you will feel so much better. You can have it done on Friday and go back to work on Monday! Hope you feel better soon.

I'm hoping if it is my gallbladder that I can schedule it for a Friday. I can't imagine it being worse than childbirth though.

  14. Tetanus shot...don't know about, but I did clean it out really well and put antibacterial goop on it. :good:

The doctor told me Wednesday that I'm an adult now and have to learn to keep up with my own vaccines and shots. I didn't know about tetanus either...I just said 'Well..they let me back into college, and you have to be up to date on your shots for that...'

  15. I think she's been spending too much time with that new puppy.

She just spent three days with that new puppy. Those two are going to drive me nuts. He went back to north Georgia so I could regain some sanity. One minute she loves him, the next she's standing on the coffee table screaming that the little thing is going to eat her feet.

    I'm not here.

    :p

  16. It is good to hear from you and I am sorry you are not feeling well. Give Hellraiser a hug from me.

I will when she wakes up. I think I've worn her out playing, today.

This kiddo and I have become inseparable - doesn't matter if I'm cooking, cleaning, taking a bubble bath...she's *right* there talking to me, reading to me, asking me a zillion questions. She curled up on top of the fresh and hot laundry to take a nap about an hour ago.

  17. BE VERY CAREFUL...IF THE GALLBLADDER GETS TOO INFECTED IT CAN CAUSE MAJOR PROBLEMS...MY FRIEND WENT TO ER AND THEY TOOK HIM TO SURGERY ASAP...

I HAD MINE OUT AT 27 BACK WHEN IT WAS A MAJOR, SPLIT YOU OPEN SURGERY...WOULD DO IT AGAIN TOMORROW IF I WERE IN THAT PAIN...IF THE PAIN GETS BAD

ALL THAT HELPS IS PAIN PILLS..ALL THE OTHER IS USELESS....THE NEW SURGERY IS USUALLY DONE AS AN OUT PATIENT & YOU CAN GO BACK TO WORK IN A COUPLE

OF DAYS...IF YOU HAVE STONES THEY CAN LODGE IN A DUCT & YOU WILL GET SERIOUSLY ILL....IF IT GETS WORST GO ASAP TO ER & INSIST THEY CHECK FOR THE

    GALLBLADDER...GOOD LUCK..

Oh, I'm planning on it. ;)

So far it's not getting worse...just not any better.

Sorry you are feeling so bad. :( I just got to say Barium milkshakes are "da Bomb" Gut bomb that is :bad: :bad: Ive had to do that before. I think the memory is making me sick. Best of luck and get well soon. :)

I know...not looking forward to it. :bad: And my doctor cracked me up - he said I'd have to drink some stuff and have a test done, and I said 'Oh, like the nasty glucose stuff I had to drink when I was pregnant? That made me sick.'....he smiled and said 'No, this is much worse.'

First time using him - other than the wait, I loved him.

  18. Hey, if I've got it, I'll be m ore than happy to share. :) We always have an abundance of milk b/c my son doesn't drink that much and I don't drink hardly any...I actually had to throw out 3/4 of a gallon yesterday b/c it'd gone bad. :(

That's actually why I was out. I bought a whole gallon, but we're *never* home to drink it. The gallon I had was bad. What'd I do yesterday? Bought a whole gallon again. It's only .20 more than a half a gallon....atleast that was my skewed logic.

  19. I'm sorry to hear you're having health issues. You know if you need anything, I'm just a building away.

    :o

    I love yer avatar!

I ran out of milk the other day and *almost* walked down there with a measuring cup. My neighbors did that to us growing up and it cracked me up.

I finally just decided on something else for dinner.
