I would like to thank you all who gave positive support and info on trying to find a resolution for this situation. I would like to apologize for my rambling on in my original post, by no means do I want to be my own thread killer, but I have wanted to post about this issue for a while, but I have been struggling with this and debating on whether or not to even bring this to the public, but I wanted to see if anyone had any knowledge on laws and regulations on this type of situation that I was not aware of. My concerns for these dogs are purely from the heart and for their well being only, not trying to intrude on anyone's business by any means. I will take all suggestions into consideration, and as far as all of the criticism, I expected it, I apologize if my post was not well constructed, once again, it was from the heart and I was trying to relay the whole situation with the neighbors, and how I feel about the responsibility of being a pet owner, once again, thanks everyone! If anyone has any more suggestions other than trying to pursuade the owners to get rid of the dogs, which they will not do, please post on this thread! Thanks, Sheri714

Isn't there a license required for backyard breeding/sale of puppies?
And they think they're gonna sell pit/husky mixes for $300 each? As if!
I'd call animal control and ask them to come take a look every time there's evidence of neglect..
I think it should be illegal to keep dogs like huskies outdoors in the south during the warm months.
They will be breeding the two Huskey's and selling those pup's. The third dog is the pit mix and her pregnancy was either an accident or simple neglect , I doubt they will be selling those pup's .
I called animal control earlier this week too , and they did take a look . I really just want the best for these dogs as well as all dogs...

I LOOK FOWARD TO COMING HOME EVERYDAY TO MY TWO DOGS , CAT, AND FERRET... I LOVE TO GREET THEM W/ HUGS AND KISSES AND ASK HOW THEIR DAY HAS BEEN... DID THEY HAVE PLENTY OF CLEAN COOL WATER TO DRINK AND FRESH KIBBLE AND TREATS TO EAT ? AND MY BIG BOYS , DID THEY HAVE A NICE LONG NAP INSIDE WITH THEIR FAVORITE BLANKET ? AFTER NAPPING DID THEY CHASE PLENTY OF BUGS MAYBE A BIRD OR TWO ? (then my house spouse chimes in "what about me")
I RELAIZE THAT MY CHOOSING NOT TO HAVE A TRADITIONAL FAMILY HAS MADE IT EASIER TO GIVE MY PETS THE ATTENTION I THINK THEY DESERVE , BECAUSE THEY GIVE ME SO MUCH IN RETURN .
ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO WHEN MY NEIGHBOR(S) MOVED IN THEY HAD AT LEAST 4 SMALL CKC OR poss. AKC DOGS , WHEN THEY STARTED GETTING OUT OF FENCE THEY WERE SURRENDERED TO THE SHELTER "BECAUCE THEY COULDN'T AFFORD THEM" , I KNOW THIS, BECAUSE I OFFERED TO HELP GET THEM BACK. SINCE THEN ,THERE HAVE HAD SEVERAL MORE COME AND GO, ALL PURBREED IT SEEMS . I DON'T KNOW THE NEIGHBORS THAT WELL , BUT I ALWAYS SEEM TO GET TO ATTACHED TO THE DOGS , NO MATTER HOW SHORT THEIR STAY. WE HAVE TOSSED FOOD AND GIVEN WATER TO THEM WHEN THEY WERE LEFT ALONE FOR DAYS AT A TIME.
I HAVE HAD A HUSKEY AND KNOW THE UPKEEP THAT COMES ALONG WITH THE BREED ESPECIALLY IN THE SOUTH .
IN THE LAST YEAR THEY HAVE PURCHASED TWO HUSKEY'S MALE almost 1 yr. AND FEMALE maybe 16 mo. , they also have a PIT MIX approx. 16mo. and she is pregnant by the HUSKY .
ABOUT 10 WEEKS AGO ALL THREE DOGS STARTED GETTING OUT OF THE FENCED YARD , NOW THEY HAVE BEEN CHAINED FOR 10 WEEKS , NOT EVEN GETTING OFF FOR ANY TYPE OF EXERCISE , THEIR WATER DISH IS USUALLY TURNED OVER , AND THE HUSKEY'S NEED BRUSHING !!!
I OFFERED TO HELP FIX THE ELECTRIC FENCE , THAT THE PRIOR NEIGHBORS INSTALLED , SINCE I ASSISTED WITH THE INITAL INSTALLITION . MY NIECE AND NEPHEW OFFERED TO HELP WITH UNDERGROUND FENCEING IF THEY CHOSE SINCE THE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THAT TYPE , (THIS WAS ON A DAY WE WENT OVER TO PURCHASE A 1 YR. OLD SMALL HOUSE DOG THAT THEY WERE KEEPIN CHAINED OUTSIDE IN THE COLD RAIN,(WE FOUND HIM A GOOD HOME). ******THEY WONT TAKE US UP ON ANY OFFERS .*********

I UNDERSTAND THE LAW AND KNOW THAT IT'S NOT MY BUSINESS. I HAVE CALLED P.C. ANIMAL CONTROLL WHEN THEY WERE LEFT W/O WATER ONE DAY. I THINK THEY WERE GIVEN A WARNING. ONCE AGAIN .!!!
THEY ARE FEED AND WATERED SOMEWHAT, dailey I think, and have a dog house,
I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT WORSE SITUTIONS ALSO , THIS IS SO DEPRESSING , I FEEL BAD FOR THOSE DOGS WHEN WE ARE OUT WITH OURS.

I THINK IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA IF WHEN YOU PURCHASE AN A.K.C DOG THAT YOU BE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE DOG ALTERED UNLESS YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL BREEDER OR SHOWING THE DOG IN WHICH IT WOULD BE LATER USED FOR BREEDING , AND IF SO, AKC SHOULD HAVE STAFFING TO REGULATE QUALITY ,QUANITY, AND CONDITIONS OF THE DOG THAT THEY GRANT REGESTRATION , AND ONLY AFTER THE OWNER PROVIDES GAURENTEE FOR WHAT PURPOSE THE DOG IS PURCHASED , AND IF ONLY FOR PERSONAL PET , THEN AND ONLY THEN THE REGISTRATION PAPERS SHOULD BE GRANTED ONCE PROOF OF SPAY OR NEUTERING IS PROVIDED.
I THINK PAYING AKC AN ADDITIONAL FEE WOULD BE WELL WORTH IT TO PREVENT THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS USED FOR UNREGULATED PERSONAL GAIN.

Thank you all for the advice and links, I am looking forward to researching the sites...
It may be Dementia , his wife has claimed he's had Alzheimer's for the last fifteen years and a doctor confirmed her allegations . We have asked to talk with the doctor about our father's condition she wouldn't give her consent , same with this nursing home , after she told my sister she would add us to the list that evening after he was admitted , as of today we are still not added to the list, however she did add me as an emergency contact. The staff is very cooperative and attentive and seem to have a sincere interest in the care of the residents. I have seen a daily improvement with my daddy since he has been there .... Now she is talking about moving him to a home in Hiawassee ...
He does have medicare along with S.S., and Lockheed pension , I don't understand the greed or the insensitivity on her part . It's been an emotional roller coaster for all especially daddy.
I realize in some family situations this may be the only solution , but it doesn't have to be in this one, she has help if she would only allow us to do for our farther . But she appears to be the one in control in this situation.

My father's wife of nineteen year's finally completed her mission , she left him at a nursing home in Cartersville yesterday only leaving a message on my sister's voice mail and when my sister did reach her , the wife didn't know the number or name of the nursing home, my sister asked if she'd received any paper work she stated "no I just had to get out of there quick" it took her three hours to fill out the paper work. Daddy asked if she was going to leave him there , she said yes she had to go feed the dog's .
Why Cartersville ? when they live in Hiawassee ... Good thing about that is she doesn't like to drive , or didn't for our family gatherings
Because of work , it was late when I arrived at the nursing home , with the intentions of taking him for a ride back to my home. But the place was nice and daddy had been given some meds. , a bit over medicated but he was fine and glad to see me , everything was clean , so I visited for awhile , the visiting hours had been over I was told . so I gave him another kiss and told him I would see him tomorrow . I'm really struggling with this , so first off I think I should check the ratings or scores given by the state and maybe see if we could make arrangement to move him to Dallas , or I would love to bring him home with me . He's such a kind and precious man and has been a wonderful father of five and husband to my mother who past twenty three years ago , daddy is eighty six and deserves so much more than how this woman has just discarded him , after she has taken all there was to take , she has no health issues and she is twenty plus years younger .
I apologize for my venting and appreciate any links, I couldn't find anything in georgia.org. also googled it.

You could also try calling one of the charity organizations - that's what we did after our last yard sale, can't remember if we called the Kidney Foundation or Disabled Vets Assoc., but there are quite a few of them out there who would be glad to take your stuff, and you get a tax deduction.
You are right . I made appt. b-4 re: other items ,and it sat in my yard a week ,b-4 they showed up after I called repeatedly , and yes I sooo need the deduction. But at this point I just need the extra room more. Thanks for the advise.

since its a skin irritation try a topical lotion like benadryl cream or ointment, cortisone , or even a little preperatoin H , can help. Zyrtec has always worked best for me w/o causing drowsiness , you need a script for Zyrtec.

We love staying at The Last Resort in Blue Ridge, GA. They often times have internet specials. They have rustin and deluxe cabins available. Ammenities include: indoor hot tub, fireplace, air conditioning, dishwasher (deluxe), porch w/swing and grill. It's very romanitic and suitable for a three year old. There is a pond on the premises in which you can use row boats free of charge. A few miles into town you can find neat shops, a train ride, and the swan drive in. When you check in and arrive at your cabin you will find a pamphlet with all the attractions included in it. There is also a variety of awesome restraunts to dine at. Frontline Plus / I use it on my dobies , ferrets, and cat. Dr. Judy is less than petmeds. com or Dr Foster & Smith I have not priced the others mentioned above , also you can purchase individual tubes at Dr. Judy's and others as well. >>> My current vet gave me a weight chart and syringe to dispense accurate amount to each species .I'm SAVEING $$$$ , I purchase the highest weight for dogs of F.L.P. and go by chart, I was hesitant but he showed me his PDR for vet and reassured me.
With the ferrets esp. I have always been extremely cautious because of small weight and not all vets treat exotics. My current vet does, I use it only as directed, even on my geriatric ferret and all is well I have used it several times now and I am so pleased. I would not advise anyone to do this without first being advised by your vet ... ***ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE WEIGHT CHART ...AND NO DOUBTS *** !!!!!!
improper doses can be toxic !!! He has given me great tips . I didn't approach him with this question nor was I poor mouthing the cost ,he must realize the high cost of pet meds esp. w/ multiple pets . The meds are more than the annual visit . I appreciate him coming forth w/ this info. / so to anyone reading this it never hurt to ask your vet you never know they may feel the same way as many pet owners re: cost of meds. and be glad to offer advise or tips.

BOW WOW at New Georgia Animal Hosp. on hwy. 61 . I have 2 Doberman's 3yr. & 2yr. both are about 100 lbs., and quite a hand full , they seem to enjoy their stay , and always excited when they revisit the kennel . I really like the staff and have a lot faith in the care they receive.....
Pet Palace on hwy.61 in Villa Rica but this side of the tracks they were relocating into town it's been awhile since we boarded with them .

I work across the street, and saw this dog for the first time on Tuesday evening on my way home. I'm glad to hear it is surviving hwy 92 . I called out also he didn't even turn to look. I knew he or she was lost or had been dumped out he was so scared, it's so sad! If it's there mon. I'll try again. It makes me so nervous that it's on 92.
