That was my first thought also. They have just stated that the report of an ejection was false. No ejection and rescue can continue in NON-emergency. This is great news! The traffic will probably be a nightmare, but it sounds like injuries aren't too serious.

There is an accident on Ridge Rd. and Bob Hunton. There are injuries involved. Scanner has a lot static this morning. I am having a hard time hearing everything. Rescue 5 is enroute. One person was ejected. Blue ford focus and red nissan. This is in front of a Shell station at Bob Hunton. Emory 5 is on stand-by at this time. 3 car accident. I have not heard the description of the 3rd vehicle. Units are now on scene.

I hope they get them.

Lane Rd is about a mile from 278 on Buchannon Hwy. My sister just called VERY upset. Said the house is completely gone. They won't let her go down to her house to get her dog. This dog is probably freaking out. She is always scared.
