I can guarantee you that if one of us teachers did something outrageous and the kids saw it. There would be talk about it before school got out.
Spc. King's Momma and the rest of his family are in my prayers. I had thought about stopping by Clarks and paying my respects to his family and thanking them for the sacrifice Spc. King and they made for our country.

He'll get his dose of reality when you don't do the things he expects you to do. You expect him to turn in his work and he doesn't, why should you comply to any of his wishes in return? He'll learn one way or the other.
We actually had this discussion this morning. Right now, he is aware that he is about to loose his cell phone and driving privileges until the grades come up.
I am looking very seriously at him not getting his actual driving license until he is 17...for many reasons.

Now that we are almost finished with my son's freshman year of high school and he has made it almost being 15.5 years old...I Completely understand why some offspring of some species never make past the teenage years.
Don't get me wrong, I love my son with all my being. I have fought the devil once for him and I won and I would do that a million times over if I had to.
BUT.... I'm going to hang him by his toenails if he doesn't start turning in his assignments and just start being more responsible. He does the work but doesn't turn it in. He's also expecting his dad and me to allow him to get his driver's license when he turns 16 in Nov., provide him with a vehicle, and pay for him to park at his high school the 2nd half of next school year.
Is this just a boy thing? Am I the only one that has a child doing this?
I will offer high regards to his honors lit and spanish 2 teachers at HHS for working with him/us. They have been his saving grace in many ways.

I'm just hanging out with my baby girl and trying to write one of my last papers for this graduate class.
I start my last 2 graduate classes, for this degree, in the morning...doing the happy dance

check with the bowling alley here in Dallas, I think they offer reduced bowling times during the summer.
West Cobb aquatic center is reasonably priced
There is White Oak park to take them to play or go fishing,
Some of the other parks on the county offer other things to do

I understand your fear. I have been there concerning the biopsy.
Yes, it can be normal for them to want to do this when you are spotting between cycles.
When I had it done, I was told to take tylenol before I arrived at the dr.'s office because they did not give me anything for pain. Basically, they use something that is a combination of a small melon baller and a pair of scissors. I had quiet a bit of cramping afterwards.

I just heard about David's death. My prayers go out to the family.
He will truly be missed in our community.
