  1. I haven't been to your site and have no intention of ever going to your site GD. Given that I have made no effort whatsoever to go to your site for any reason, to suggest that I am asserting some right to project non-existent hate is just one more lie that puts you, IMHO, in a race with the president for the bottomless or is it the perpetual pinnochio. When it comes to your constant barrage of hateful commentary, I consider the source and forget it as no consequence. Hell, I truly wish you folks would just go away and segregate yourself into your own special non-reality. As far as CC
  2. The original post was about the economy and the troubling decline in the stock market largely due to the erratic, dangerously erratic, president from hell. To suggest the turn in the conversation to the personally critical falls solely on those who pretend to be holier than thou. We all know who the bully is here. pubby
  3. You mean to say that when Kemp, when he was criticized for STILL, AFTER MULTIPLE BREECHES OF STATE VOTER DATA INCLUDING THE RELEASE OF MILLIONS OF RECORDS INCLUDING SS#'S AND IT BEING PROVEN THAT SECURITY HAD NOT BEEN FIXED, DECIDED TO INSTEAD LIE AND ACCUSE HIS CRITICS OF HACKING WHEN THE FAULT WAS HIS CONTINUING MASSIVE INCOMPETENCE. Yep, the judgement of the white nationalists wing of the GOP is that an incompetent, lying, but gun-loving white guy, is preferable to any person that is not an incompetent, lying, but gun-loving white guy ... 'cause we know they aren't racists or white supr
  4. What they said ... Happy Birthday. pubby PS: sometimes it is hard to be creative.
  5. You know I hate it when others do it but I am beginning to think the only way to answer some of the scat being thrown out by the right with a simple, all encompassing reply. That reply: I told you so. pubby
  6. I have to admit I'm not terribly impressed by a 4.4 level earthquake. ... and No I've never lived in California or refer to the San Andreas fault. But maybe you've heard of the the New Madrid fault. Grew up about 20 miles east of that fault line and my dad, when he remarried after my mom's death, lived on a farm right next to it. The wiki says there have been about 4000 'quakes' along the New Madrid fault since 1974 - about 100 a year. Not all of them are large enough to be felt but over the course of a year the frequency was close to monthly. The catastrophic predictions of a '
  7. Three years, a $50,000 fine, $1.4 million in back taxes and a half-million in restitution is not a light sentence. What was done is serious business. The plain fact is that covering up the two accusations regarding the porn star and playmate, which would have come out in October 2016 after the grab-em by the kitty statement, would have sunk Trump's candidacy. That was so obviously a felony campaign finance violation that to suggest otherwise is absurd. That the other similar case - John Edwards case - was an entirely different set of facts in that the alleged violation occurred more
  8. I think the term is technically illegal kind of like the lady in the gas station who was accosted by car jackers and hit one with a door of her car as she sought to escape their nefarious intentions and ran away 'from the scene of an accident'. Yep, she was technically in violation of the law about leaving the scene of an accident but self-defense seems a legitimate justification. Not perfect behavior but also not criminal. Having criminal 'intent' is a key element in most crimes and acts that may appear legal can be criminal based on the intent of the actor. For instance, when Dona
  9. And to think I blamed the cats for the stuff all over the floor pubby
  10. I kind of agree. I think however, the way I grasp the situation is: Projection is when people lie and accuse others of the nefarious acts they are doing in order to deflect and distract from their acts by creating confusion over facts. It is actually a psych-ops propaganda tactic that is being commonly used by those whose motivations are served by lying, cheating and stealing for personal gain. pubby
  11. RE: 'forbidden material in an online chain' ... What Hillary was guilty of is adding a comment to a bit of material that in one case wasn't classified until after it was contained in an email chain. In others, the classified material was added by others in the email chain which mean anyone replying to the message after the forbidden material was added was guilty if they forwarded all the earlier comments (including the one with forbidden material.) One time someone posted a pornographic image on pcom. Others, showing their disgust and shock, replied to original offending post theref
  12. While that kind of outcome is not at all expected, I guess that if CC is right and frogs do grow wings, the Clinton's would go trucking down. So while I highly doubt that this criminal conspiracy uncovers proof of collusion between the Clinton's and the Chinese to win the 2024 election or some such, I'm not wanting to limit its impact on anyone that is complicit in treason ... But looking at your language .. "What if Mueller's probe implicates the Clinton's and not Trump?" Let me say that Michael Cohen worked for Trump and Trump has already been named as an un-indicted co-conspirator
  13. The reason that Flynn is getting off for zip jail time before the case is presented is because he is probably the star witness in the congressional hearings that will likely come sometime in early 2019. I say his star witness status is critical because, he's free and clear and if the Judge and prosecutors finalize the deal ... he can recount if t hat is the truth. When Flynn tells his story he won't be under the thumb of the government. You can bet that he'll be playing up his military background including the humiliation he's felt. I'm probably wrong but I suspect the unrelated crimi
  14. You've got to be kidding. I guess once you go down the rabbit hole, where everything uttered is a lie, then everything uttered is a lie making your statement that Mueller has no evidence 'a priori' a lie meaning its opposite is the truth. If you're confused by this bass-ass white and black world where everything that isn't is and what is isn't - where zorro and a few more appear to be - you are a trumper. It really isn't that hard; just pull that log out your eye, my splinter can wait. pubby
  15. GD and Zorro: Entertaining posts. However, Lovitz already pioneered your shtick. pubby
  16. Given the nature of email chains, the one statement I've not heard is that hillary was personally guilty of attaching even one 'secret' of any type ... rather that the email chains contained them as someone in the chain 'added' the forbidden information. Fifty-eight chains out of 100,000s of emails. A gross violation of the law. ... Yet you don't sit on your hands, you applaud the absurd illegalities that is Donald Trump. You do know that it is a violation of US law to offer a bribe of any kind to a foreign leader for permissions or consideration yet it is now documented that Trump w
  17. I don't think it was ever established that Hillary Clinton attached and sent classified materials to her email server. From her perspective, she was old school and used couriers when she initiated the handling of classified materials. Most of the infractions were because things that weren't classified - lets say a discussion of a terrorist event - because that is just news. The problem didn't arise until someone in the discussion replies that there was a seal team incursion planned nearby that changes the whole nature of the email. If Hillary is anything like me - I maybe get throug
  18. President Bush #41, who served from 1989-93, died at age 94. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara. I hope we as a nation can get through this event without issues without a repeat of the McCain funeral distractions. Poppy Bush on his passing deserves respect (as did John McCain). pubby
  19. I read the news today, oh boy. About a lucky man who made the grade, But then the news was rather sad, Tell me this five minutes heard by billions over the past 48 years is not prescient in an ominous sort of way. pubby
  20. Actually, I blame trump. Why? He so decimated the regulations requiring increased fleet average miles per gallon meaning, effectively, that GM, Ford and others can eliminate the smaller, high-MPG vehicles (loss-leaders in their lineup that they were making and selling as a tool to increase their fleet MPG) so they could sell their high-profit 'luxury' trucks, SUV's and crossovers. The fleet average regulations limited the number of profitable high-margin vehicles the company could sell by requiring a high fleet mpg average. This is how it worked... you sell 10, 15mpg trucks and yo
  21. How did he tell anyone he got trapped? When is the last time he was conscious? How big is the vault and what kind of ventilation is involved? Isn't this a bit odd ... even for Florida? pubby UPDATE: But after the teen spent hours in the vault, authorities were able to retrieve the old combination to the vault and free him. The teen was checked out by paramedics and allowed to leave with family members.
  22. Jamie: I think what COWA is pointing to is the idea that the rise in tariff's on things like aluminum and some of the other aspects of the tRumpian agenda have cut into the profitability of the marginally profitable (because of diminishing sales of all sedans vs. crossovers, etc. because of the artificially low gasoline prices - also a Trumpian agenda item because it maintains our dependence on fossil fuels and the administrations ignoring climate impacts (externalizing the costs of folks using oil for the profit of the fossil fuel industry). Anyway, throw in the cut in regulations whi
  23. Yeah, I heard they were contemplating a "sarcasm as policy" bill in the GOP lame duck session but I think most Americans just want someone to do their job in the house and senate. I mean this whole vote for me, I'll cut taxes and do nothing if you'll pass a government salary bill to pay us even more for doing even less because we've conned us into thinking that small government means the voter is happy paying us more to do nothing. If the copious amounts of BS being flushed our way is an indication, we've been buying that pile for most of the last 40 years, but hope for hope's sake (a
