Folks I just got home from a morning at church and eating out after church. When I got home it was 95 on my front porch. I thought thank you lord for my air conditioner.Folks what about the people that their power has been turned off and don't even have a fan. what about the ones that couldn't afford to eat out after Church. What a blessed people we are to have the cool air and plenty of food to eat . I was raised with no air conditioner all we could do was keep all of the windows open and suffer with the heat.We slept 3 kids to a bed and that made it even hotter. But I think it made a better

MissSophie you are a doll. Do you know how many people can be fed with forty dollars? You should come to the church one Friday night from 6.30 untill 8pm and see where your money goes. I am sure that Darlene would let you help give out the food. I hope you win the tool box but if you don't you are still a winner in my book. I don't understand if this is the box that we already have on the TV or the ones we got today.The letter says that XFINITY is coming soon with more choices more speed more on Demand . Said channels 13 &19-78 will be in digital format and you will need the digital equipment . I guess we will just hold on to the new boxes and not hook them up yet.

We got a letter about a week ago telling us we had to call to have the new boxes mailed to us or else we would only get 20 channels. If we got more than two there would be a charge each month for the third one.They didn't ask what kind of TV we had.Said they were changing to something else. Said we could hook them up ourselves or for a charge they would hook them up. Our letter said action is required by July13 2010.Said for us to call them by tuesday july 6th to get our equipment.Hope this helps.

Thanks .We haven't hooked them up yet. Wish Com Cast would leave everything along. Just when we get one thing done they start something new.

Has anyone else ordered the new com cast boxes? We got ours today by ups. I think the letter from Com Cast said if we didn't get the new boxes we could only get about 20 channels. Has any one hooked theirs up yet?Thanks.

You know it is not so much selling the tickets it just knowing that others are willing to help in what she is trying to do . She is raising five kids and doing this food ministry at the same time. While other kids are out of school doing what ever they want to do her kids spend a lot of their time at the church picking up food and putting up food for the hungry. She never complains because that is what her and Charlie was called of God to do. So SouthernScarlett you are just like one of my daughters also and I love

Thank you so much Georgia Mommy for your help. It gets so hard sometimes to keep trying to keep food for the ones that need it when it seem that so many just don't care about other. I think if it was me I would just throw my hands up and quit. I am glad that she is not that way and will keep trying no matter what. I think to do that job you have to be called by the lord. Folks I am sad to say that the tickets on the tool box to feed the hungry is not selling very well. It just seems like we have got caught up in our own problems and forgot about others that are having a harder time than we are. Folks the tickets for the tool box are two dollars . Don't buy them for the tools if you win the tool box that is just a bonus. Buy them to honor your father here on earth and to help feed the families of the fathers that have lost their jobs and have no way to feed their family. I am a father and the good lord has blessed me to always be able to feed my family . But if
