No, I am not okay with it. First off, a law firm is an admirable profession and most people, at one time or another, will need one in their lifetime. I have an Open Records Request on Todd Pownall's personal cell phone records (and there is a reason I requested those). He in the past has used his personal cell phone for county business, thus making it subject to an Open Records Request. After 3 attempts, I still to this day do not have those records. So much for the "transparency" Pownall preaches about, right? You know that old saying, ,you should "practice what you preach."

I am basing this on conversations you and I have had in the past and I'm quite sure you know what I am talking about. The Marshal's Office works very hard and they have a lot of ground to cover. I have always been impressed with their professionalism in any situation I have ever witnessed them being involved in. I went to the doctor on Tuesday - high fever, headache, sneezing, etc. Dx of strep throat and severe sinus infection. 5 prescriptions and 2 days later, I am feeling much better. Those steroids work wonders. My doctor said they are not seeing many cases of flu at all; however, they are seeing lots of strep throat in the last couple of weeks. Hope you feel better!

Thank you for editing and correcting your post about Todd offering his cell phone records. I am the one who filed the Open Records Request. The records were due last week and I still have not received them.

First off, that meeting was not at "our" airport, it was at "our" courthouse. Second, I do not condone Brett Smith's behavior as to this issue. Really though, I have to say there is no way I could myself move into a county, be living here approximately 1 1/2 years, not living in close proximity to the airport, and then feel like I had adequate information to start filing lawsuits against the county left and right.
