  1. Is that how Roger is going to handle these kinds of situations if he gets elected? Is he going to say "two is enough" and cut those questioning him off in the path? I'm certain that if David Austin did this to you, ,you would have it all over social media. I'm glad Mr. Leggett has a web page and Facebook page just as Dave Carmichael does. Candidates should be easy to reach if someone has a question. Unfortunately, Roger Leggett doesn't appear to be easy to reach as he is refusing interviews by citizens of the county. The record speaks for itself. Not for recognition, seriously? Was h
  2. Tundra, I noticed you didn't answer my question about having a connection in the Carmichael campaign or at Paulding Uncensored. As such, I have to take what you said about the free booth to be totally false. Since you have already done the research on record retention policy, please share with everyone here where you found it. What section and paragraph are you referring to? So far as Roger being open to all citizens and businesses of Paulding County, how can you say that? Paulding Uncensored is a Paulding business operated by a Paulding citizen. I'm glad you saw the networking
  3. Where in the world are you getting this information? Do you have a connection in the Dave Carmichael campaign or Paulding Uncensored? I am reasonably sure that you don't have an internal connection to either of these organizations. You're an avid supporter of Roger Leggett. This is obviously just another one of your smear campaigns. Jayson Phillips broke protocol? Our county isn't run on "protocol", it is run on rules and regulations which I'm sure Jayson Phillips followed to the tee. If Roger has nothing to hide, then why isn't he doing the interview? He should be open to all citize
  4. Congratulations to Mr. Pederson! Love to read stories like this and love it even more when they are members of our community and school system!
  5. Thanks everyone. Surgery went well and just dealing with a little pain. Hubby is taking good care of me! I have to say that Dr Michael Vick is a wonderful ENT / Surgeon - also has a great bedside manner. Well Star Paulding and their staff was great also. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
  6. Your experiences with sinus surgery. I am having it on Friday and trying to get feedback so I will know what to expect. I understand the first few days after the surgery are pretty rough for a lot of people. I am the Eternal Optimist but a realist at the same time. I just need to warn my husband and children in advance as to how bad my attitude will be. Helps to know in advance you know. Thanks in advance for any advice you might have!
  7. She is a precious person and my thoughts and prayers are with her.
  8. Good Lord .....,,.,,lighten up Francis. :)
  9. From what I understand surepip, Blake accepted a fantastic position (still in aviation and airport management) in Florida. From what I understand, this job is quite a step up. I am very happy for Blake and his family. I'm happy that his talents continue to be utilized and I wish him the best!
  10. It's the brown colored mini brooms that smell like cinnamon. They sell them in the floral departments of Kroger and Publix in the fall and winter and they smell wonderful! I will buy you one this Fall.
  11. Love the cinnamon brooms! I bet I go through about 10 of them in the fall and winter.
  12. I will be voting YES on the renewal of the SPLOST. I truly believe this is the fairest of taxes.
  13. Grilled ribeyes and chicken, roasted red pepper and tomato pasta salad, crispy bacon and cheese potatoes (recipe from Pinterest) and rolls. Okay, I confess - the rolls came from California Dreamin. Had my daughter and son in law bring them from their lunch there earlier today. Love those California Dreamin rolls!
  14. No, I was not responsible for those billboards.
  15. I'm not trying to paint it anyway. I am simply trying to be reasonable and undramatic about something there is no reason to be dramatic about. You know, why don't we just watch this play out? I have observed and watched a lot in my 55 years of life and have learned that arrogance and unmerited confidence will sometimes come back and "bite you in the tail."
  16. I don't think anyone expected anything otherwise Whitey. It's not a blow to the proponents of the Airport expansion - it was expected. The FAA is doing its due diligence which is expected. This is not a major blow to the Airport expansion Whitey and I find it repulsive and sad at the same time that you feel the need to exaggerate this issue. And P. S. Whitey - you obviously need to read the letter. There is no mention about any secret "head nods", etc. by FAA. It basically says that "consistent with FAA procedure, given such litigation related to commercial service at PUJ (ot
  17. This makes my heart hurt. I saw and heard the helicopter this morning - it always makes me sad to see those as you know someone is in serious trouble. My heartfelt prayers go out to this precious angel's family and friends.
  18. It has been so long since I have heard anyone mention Turtle's Record Store. We couldn't ever make a trip to Atlanta as teenagers without going to Turtle's. Loved that place! I saw Prince several years ago at Phillip's Arena. I have to admit I was overly enthusiastic about attending the concert but, I changed my mind very quickly after the first song. He was a very talented performer and he will be missed!
  19. Got it - that is a funny coincidence! And Pooler is a cool place. I had a neighbor in Florida go through a similar situation recently. He was able to get the issue resolved with a very sternly written letter from his attorney to the company. I hope your situation will be resolved quickly and easily also!
  20. My sister-in-law is an attorney in Cobb County. She doesn't handle cases in Savannah but she is from that area and would most likely be able to refer you to someone. I am sending you a PM with her name and contact information. Best of luck to you!
  21. Whitey - you just proved my point. Pownall, Collett, Crowe and Davis don't have a plan. If they had a plan, they wouldn't be spending $77,000.00 plus of taxpayer dollars to have a plan created for them.
  22. You know stradial, if I offended you, I publicly apologize. I haven't said anything to you that I wouldn't say to the person's face. I try to be very careful as to what I post as I have enough sense to know it can get you in trouble sometimes. I, like everyone else in the free world, have opinions and they obviously do not match yours. Life goes on............but I do apologize if I offended you.
  23. Not one of them, Ron Davis, Todd Pownall, Tony Crowe nor Vernon Collett have offered any solutions as to how to take the necessary steps and seek to bring in businesses and economic development in making Paulding County more economically sustainable. I point blank asked Todd Pownall the other day what his plans are - he himself said he didn't have anything specific in mind. Give me a break - what Whitey posted above wasn't anything to do with these 4 Commissioners proposing anything in bringing in new economic development. They simply made motions and votes - normal course of busine
  24. I also giggle at reading some of this stuff. Some of you act as if Delta is invincible - just like anyone else or anything else, they're not.
  25. Don't have a stroke on me stradial. As for the bad faith deal with the City of Atlanta, I have seen the deed and there are no restrictions. If there had been, don't you think the City of Atlanta would have already filed suit? Can I get a cool, calm, collected answer from you instead of a irrational rant this time, please?
