engine 4 in the area - attempting to locate -
grass fire spreading quickly - 1421 Allgood Church Rd across from the chruch engine 4 enroute. GFC requested - GFC 3 responding

Ellery, thanks for that link. It is hard to imagine that an old tank has been around, overfilled, for this long (Seems like 5+ years that the old tanks have not been able to be filled) and caused the two fires over the last week. But, is guess it could be possible. I'm am suspending all over LP tank overfilling at my house.

I went camping last weekend - I was sad to see that the acorns I saw on the ground were really small - about 1/2 the size of normal. I am sure they are having a hard time fattening up for the winter.

yes - the 20# tanks used for grills and other applications I've never heard of these blowing up before

station 6 is at hwy 61 and school road - about 2 miles south of Dabbs Bridge and 61. I have not seen an address listing of each station. In the 911 center, there is a large county map with each station flagged. I guess I only know the locations of stations 6,8,3,1,10,9 and the future location of 11.

I know how easy it is for you to get worked up into a lather so I'll let it slide. I figure the crime scene unit driver lives in that area - I've never seen the van before....

don't get worked up yet. I didn't have my scanner with me, but I saw two SO units and a Crime Scene Van heading into Seven Hills S/D this evening (7:30PM). Anyone know if there is any action going on? Maybe the units live in the area?

I didn't hear any further traffic.

HO must have advised that the fire was out. Units went in service - engine 10 continuing on to check engine 10 on scene - nothing showing

propane tank on fire engine 1 responding from fire training engine 10, batt 1, 3410, ladder 1 enroute x-street Cochran Ridge fire last week was cause by propane tanks on a camper - is there a problem with these tanks being out in the heat we are having?

tanker 4 enroute structure and propane tank in danger - battalion request second engine be enroute also tanker 7 enroute ex-street Hannah RD (lots of fires in this area this week) GFC 1 responding

mrsjones, after further consideration I think my other suggestion will work for you too - just wait in the bathroom and hose them down whenever they make tracks for the tub. No reason for EMS, A/C or the SO on this one so hold the phone. Do you need to borrow a long hose?
