tbird, the roadside refusal is good for suspension of license for a minimum of 1 year. I'm sure your attorney friend can point you to GA Code section 40-5-67.1. The officer said the driver refused testing - 10-95 to jail.... Maybe the sobering drive in the back of the patrol unit made him change his mind - giving the state a little more evidence to hang him with. In the end no one got hurt and we didn't have a drunken maniac racing through our streets.

I don't know if this was speed related or a DUI. The Trooper that was dispatched was advised that it was a DUI. I think the vehicle must have side-swipped the F150 and then wrecked out. I didn't hear the initial "on scene" by the rescue - there will normally be a description of the wreck site. I believe there was a SO unit nearby that made the call for EMS.

136 - show me to jail - "he has refused" My guess is that this is a DUI - which could have been bad if this chase had continued. I guess Mr. Buttwieser spoke to the driver...

I don't think that is the right area that I posted - the officer stated "mile marker 7 on hwy 92" and the other units asked for better location - they didn't know where MM7 is at - he then stated seaboard at 92 I don't see a "seaboard at 92" on mapquest. So, I don't know where the chase ended.

location - mile marker 7/hwy 92 - 28s CV8786. I hear a dog barking in back ground (going crazy) but I don't recall 136 being a unit with a K-9 near Seaboard at 92 shortly thereafter - truck driver must have wised up and stopped
