  8. older caller issued medical alarm - has fallen with laceration on the back of her head. Rescue 7 and clark med 5 responding
  9. The one you saw was probably Emory Flight 3 out of Cartersville. Rescue Air 1 is solid red. Emory Fight paint scheme:
  10. MamaC, you could be right - the first chopper could have been in the area and then abandoned due to weather. That would have been in the time frame you mention. The Emory Flight chopper was probably a blue and white machine (or yellow and white if the reserve unit was in use)
  11. I figured mechanical or weather caused first chopper to abandon. Emory flight 3 normally flies right over my house when they are heading south, but I never heard them. Must have poor weather at the cartersville airport if they were first called out on this one.
  12. rescue 3 in service I never was able to determine the nature of the call.
  13. didn't hear the complaint - 15yof involved subject in science dept in back - admin will meet units and direct them 10:59: rescue 3 on scene
  14. normally the encoding (taking the scanner output and putting in format played out over the internet) takes 10-30 seconds
