We are going to be able to offer fruits and veggies on these days. And other items such as sandwiches, meats ( already cooked) soups, Whatever items we have donted on those days.

Yes it is very sad to see all these in need. But God has allowed us to be able to help them. We were opened only on Friday nights to help assist those who had jobs and could not make it to other food pantry's during day time hours. Now we can help others during the day time hours as well.

We are so excited and this will lead to us doing more things for the people in need in the future.

We are pleased to announce that starting Monday Aug. 2nd Lighthouse Food Pantry will be opening every Monday and Thursday from 10am until noon. The food pantry is growing so fast and we are seeing so many people in need. We will continue to open on Friday nights from 6:30pm until 8:00pm as we normaly do. The same paper work will be needed on Monday and Thursday that we require on Friday's 1. Photo ID for everyone in the home 18 years old and older. 2. Social security cards on everyone in the household 3. Proof of address 4. Proof of income We are located across the street from I

We have approx. 18 vendors. Many goody's for the first 50 women. And lots of door prizes and items to raffle off. I am so excited about this. I am expecting a great day. We even have a huge pink sign to put out at the road. I hope this helps many local women and their business and the food pantry. We have some exciting news coming up in the next day or so. We are reaching out to so many people that are hurting right now. So together we can all make a difference.

We also just got word, we will also be giving away a door prize of FREE hair care products. From Fantastic Sams. Also Chloe's Closet in Rockmart has offerend a gift card to be given as a door prize. So as it stands now we can almost have a door prize given every 30 mins.

This event is growing. We are also going to have a person selling hotdogs and snowcones outside as well. Lot's of free samples, coupons and discounts. Look for the Lady's Day of Leisure sign across the street from Ingles in Dallas off business 6. Doors will open at 9am and close at 3pm. You dont want to miss this event.

The count down has begun. This event is this coming up Saturday. And these goody bags are FULL of great things. For anyone who is interested in fitness you are really going to enjoy the goodys in these bags. So plan on stopping by and seeing what all we have. The door prizes are going to be great as well. ( You do have to be present to win a door prize- but you do NOT have to be present to win a raffle. As long as we have a name and contact number). This is going to be so much fun. And also will go to help feed the hungry.
