Well, it was either spend the money on H2O or kiss 2500.00 to Mother Nature. I opted to give the water dept the $$$$ since this is a NEW house and never been lived in. (yes, it is for sale) Just had the hardwoods and carpet put in today and almost DONE! (considering it has NOT rained at this location since July 28th.. according to the rain guage)

After being invaded by "ARMY Worms" August 2nd on my freshly sodded grass. I got a call from the water dept. saying they believe I may have a leak. The H2O service was turned on at the end of July. I said, why do you say that? Well, your bill is rather HIGH! (Now, I knew that I have been watering like CrAzY! and I was expecting a THOUSAND Dollar Bill!) This is why... Any NEW (renewing policy) Policy written after sept 1st.. if you are w/in 5 miles of a fire station your rating should drop from a 6 to a 5. If your current rating is 9 and above... sorry. the companies we write for it is NOT an automatic adjustment. Now, all Insurance Carriers took a MAJOR Hit last year with flooding, fires, natural disasters, etc. Be prepared for the fire rating to offset the insurance increase and be if your premium does NOT increase. Chances are you will still see a $50.00 to $80.00 dollar increase annually.
