  1. Heard yesterday that he was LifeFlighted to CHOA, unresponsive. Anyone know an update today?? I can't get in touch with my SIL to find out how he is.

    TIA

It's my understanding that the doctors at scottish rite didn't think Brody would make it though the night. He passed away moments ago. I'm sure that Vince's family would like to extend their deepest and most heartfelt thanks for everyone's prayers and support. I haven't spoken to Vince or Tammy, but I figure it would be best to allow them some privacy at this difficult time.

  2. This is an outrage! Those boys were probably on their way to bible study and will now probably face charges. Or a good talking to. I hate a rouge cop.

Why would a cop kicking a suspect in the head not be a felony, but let a suspect kick a cop and he'll get charged with a felony? It's a double-standard.

All the cops I've dealt with are rogue cops and I don't trust any of them. Actually when some mouthy-runt cop that comes to the trailer park and gets cussed at, laughed at and harassed, it makes my day!

  3. Hmmm, well this "flunky" has only written 2 tickets this month and both have been warnings and one was for a wreck. Is it possibly that weezy is a moron and has no clue as to which he speaks? Notice that this is a question and not a statement. Weezy, I hope your dial up service in your trailer shorts out!

Good one.... don't you know if it weren't for trailer trash and government housing you'd be out of a job?

Back to the original post.....you wouldn't confiscate his keg and keep it for evidence?

  4. Can you get a ticket for open container if you have a keg in the back seat of your truck with the tap in? :drinks: I was returning a keg to the package store this afternoon and was wondering what a officer would do if he came across this?

The answer depends on the police budget. If the police or sheriff's dept needs more revenue, the captain insists that the flunkies write even more folks up for every little violation imaginable (even if they have to make things up). More tickets mean more revenue. Didn't you know that if a cop won't write tickets, then according to the captain, he's obviously not doing his job?

  5. This trial shouldn't be taking more than 2 hours. There is substantial evidence that he did it. The is no excuse for it. They should be building the gallows outside the courthouse right now and as soon as the gavel falls, march his effed up ass out in the front yard and swing him by his neck.

hang em' high! There ought to be more hangings.

  6. The Census bureau came by my neighborhood and didn't even ask how many people lived at my house, They went through the neighborhood counting houses.

Aren't they being paid to count the number of people who live in each house?

This is a bunch or hogwash!

  7. Tax hikes of any kind only signify a lack of discipline in the gov't. Just make sure all of you voted the right way. If anyone on here is complaining about the hike, hope you didn't vote Obama. You're a hypocrite if you did. ;)

Did you notice it was the REPUBLICAN governor who is the one pushing a tax hike? I voted against Sonny last go round, so all those GOP crybabies who voted for him should stop complaining about the tax hike!

  8. Kurt is dreamy..But Gotta keep the peace in the family

It may all come down to Hines Ward....If he's healthy, Steelers should win.

If he's out, the Cardinals might have a chance to pull an upset.....

  9. I'm by Macland and Bobo, they started in my subdivision hours ago, but not constant

Hey I'm near Bobo Rd too.

The rednecks over this way in our neighborhood started partying about 7:00. By 10:30 every dog in the neighborhood was howling because of the fireworks. I'm sure I heard some shotgun blasts as well. Anyways, Happy New Year everyone. I've got to start cooking my peas & greens.

  10. Our friend just had a baby boy last week. We were unable to get her anything around the time of her baby shower and now that x-mas is over I figured we could get her anything that she didn't already receive. BTW the baby was born by C-section a month early and was still 8lbs 9 oz!

Or even if there are some mom's looking to get rid of some older stuff I might be interested as well.

And he has two older sisters one is 13 and the other is 4, maybe 5. I would hate to go empty handed for them, any ideas? These are are god children.

I find great deals for baby items at Ross on Hwy 278. They have Carter items there. Great selections and reasonable prices.

  11. D Dawg Since I have been accused of BS, I think you should be the first to know that the deal with the new county manager has now been called off, seems that Cobb County has found some new money????

Hmmmm. Thta's interesting. I read in the marietta journal where all merit raises for county employees were cut out for this fiscal year. So did Mr. Hankerson get some new money and the employees he manages get shafted? Please enlighten us......

  12. I was very disappointed that he did not get the death sentence. Then to add insult to injury, he was willing to accept a plea deal of life in prison, if he could avoid the death penallty. So basically he got what he wanted and we wasted MILLONS of dollars of tax payer money to give him the same sentence he would have agreed to without a trial!!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!! <_<

4 dead citizens, Millions of dollars wasted. Pathetic...........this whole thing boils down to an over-weight, out of shape, female deputy sheriff got lazy and didn't follow procedures. Most cops, including the folks at the Fulton County Sheriff's office are incompetent. Had this cop been properly trained and properly supervised, Nichols would have never gotten her gun.... the judge and the court reporter trusted the po-po and it cost them dearly.

  13. I am so crazy about Westerns.... my den is full of old western movies and I could watch them over and over.

Robert Mitchum/ Dean Martin (5 card stud)

Nevada Smith (Steve McQueen/ Karl Malden)

    Hombre (Paul Newman/ Richard Boone)

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (John Wayne/Jimmy Stewart/Lee Marvin)

The Outlaw Josey Wales (Clint Eastwood)

    Charles Bronson (Breakheart Pass)

Last Train from Gun Hill (Anthony Quinn/Kirk Douglas)

the list of my favorite western movies could go on and on.....

  14. Oh My. The Falcons won 34-20..... Abraham, Norwood, Ryan, Turner, White,,,,, the list of Falcons who were outstanding today could go on and on.

I know the Saints sure missed having Reggie Bush in there...... and did you see Drew Brees fussing out Jeremy Shockey? That was the best camera shot of the day.

    Way to go Falcons!

  15. who do you think will win tomorrow new orleans or the falcons ?

I'm pulling for the Falcons...., but Drew Brees can sure move the ball well for the Saints and our pass defense is not all that great.

My prediction: Saints 28, Falcons 17

  16. I want to say congratulations to Larry Ragsdale on the election. I know that with David Austin and Tommy Graham joining the BOC, Paulding will continue to be successful. I wish Mr. Ragsdale and the BOC the best.

    Thank you.

You showed some class by the above post. Perhaps the new commission can show some class and finally listen to the people and not the developers!

  17. so ill be able to go to the liquor store and buy beer?

NO, you can't buy liquor, beer, or wine package on Sunday, .......but you can now go get drunk at a local restaurant then get in the car and drive home and maybe kill someone on their way home from church!

I vote NO and I'm all in a bad mood..... =@

  18. Someone who is intellectually honest deserves applause. You get the applause from me.

Look at the facts! Davis was found guilty... Guilty !

The law allows for the death penalty and the jury found that Davis should be put to death! the jury has spoken! now the activist cry foul?

Now the lawyers file countless appeals at taxpayers expense and TBAR apparently has no problem with that? That's hogwash!

Davis was found guilty by a jury, he was sentenced to death!

    Now Hang em' high!

  19. Sometimes, the system is so very unfair. This is one of those times.

I thought the death penalty was supposed to be a deterrent to keep others from killing.... lawyers see a murder trial as a way to hit the jackpot and let the taxpayers foot the bill.

Davis received a fair trial, he was convicted and he was sentenced to death!

Why is his attorney still appealing years later? Davis should have been executed the day after he was convicted! Death row is full of folks who are guilty as sin and the taxpayers are footing the bill for decades while their lawyers keep appealing. Many on death row die of old age before their sentence is carried out! The whole process stinks. If they're found guilty of murder, they should all be put to death, quickly and publicly so all could see what happens.

On another note, my great grandfather attended a public hanging for a killer in 1905 in Newnan Georgia. Folks came from miles around to watch it..... I wish we still had public hangings!
