I had to strip the beds and I was cleaning the drawers anyway so I just looked. I'm weird like that....LOL Kinda like lice....I think about them and I itch. (ETA....like now) Glad to hear they don't always have to be bad.

Me too. They were interviewing a guy the other day who had to close off 2 rooms in his house for over 3 weeks,take apart and treat all the furniture in them and throw away the boxsprings and mattresses. It cost him $1400.00 just for the treatment and they might not be finished treating them..

We have not had one unexplained bite but I am worried about this little boogers. I stripped the beds and washed them in the hottest water I could. I checked ALL the mattresses in the dark with a flashlight. Especially the creases in the pillow tops. Cleaning out all the dresser drawers tomorrow and checking all the drawers in the dark with a flashlight. I have not seen any of the signs they say to look for but I just had to check. I have heard HORROR stories about how hard and expensive it is to get rid of them. I also heard it has nothing to do with how dirty or clean

I have been there three times and the care was great. Two of those times they knew my case was more than they could handle and transferred me immediately. The other time I stayed in extended care for a couple of days and felt they did a wonderful job. That said....I am looking forward to the new hospital and any addition professional buildings they might add. As I get older I like having things close by.

I am old but I have always like Kid Rock. I do not think the man deserved any settlement over medical bills BUT... From the one picture I saw the girl/woman/whatever she is looked like she was turned around,holding the guys hand with a very "pouty" look on her face. I am waaay past having children in school but there was a time when my elementary age children walked to school. We had sidewalks and crossing guards. No,it would not be the schools fault if one of them ran out in the road and was killed. As a single parent I could not change my hours or quit work and find a job with hours that would let me take them to and from school.

I definately do not have that attitude.
