As some may know by now, my hubby is a Nascar fan and ever since he was 6 or 7 he has gone to the 500. He is now 39. Well this year, that this occurred, he was going and was going to be gone on V-day. The day fell on Sat. The kids and I went out and as we were pulling up into the garage my oldest said there were flowers on the porch. I didn't see them and asked her to repeat what she said. Get to the porch and there sat 12 of the most beautiful roses you had ever seen. They were peachy w/ red tips. I was completely in awwww. He got off work early before leaving and went to a florist.

Maybe you should pick the best 3 and have a vote. You still make this decision, but take the votes into consideration. JMI

No it's not that. They wanted to back out but the track wouldn't give them their money back,so they HAD to go or pay the 2 hundred and something dollars (split 3 ways) and sit on their sofas. So they went with expectations they would be leaving around 4 or 5. Now it is 6 something and the race isn't through and the track has to get fixed and then they finish. The last red flag was almost 2 hours. Time to come home. The guys can control the circumstances of his 73 year old father NOT having to drive home in the weather at 3 or 4 in the morning by leaving earlier. They are not up her

THE STINKING DAYTONA 500 HAS BEEN RED FLAGGED AGAIN!! I sure my husband has gone ahead and left. This whole weekend w/ this race has put a bitter taste in my mouth about them going next year.

Yes. Took a nap because I didn't sleep well last night. Woke up and the stupid Daytona 500 was red flagged and they finally just got going about 20 minutes ago. Hubby was suppose to have been on the road for 2 hours heading home, but NNNNOOOOO. The track starts falling apart and he hasn't even left yet. We were looking forward to him actually getting home at respectable hour, but not now. It will be the usual mid-morning hour and right when all this weather comes in and his 73 year old father has to drive to Haralson once he gets here. I AM SO NOT HAPPY. I feel Daytona has had it's run

There is also a Macaroni Grill in the Avenue @ West Cobb off Dallas Hwy. It's a good run to for some Italian, but I know there is better out there. Where is this Pasta Bella?

They had a spicy chicken, artichoke, sundried tomatoes dinner that was so good. I am so wanting something w/artichoke and that would really hit the spot. If you liked them....what was your favorite dish?

The commercials show a panel of Stars (Jerry Seinfeld & Kelly Ripa) I have seen. I'm not sure about the third. There is also a host. They go into people's home and then discuss what the situation that is occurring in the home. The one w/ Seinfeld and Ripa showed a man working on his motorcycle in the middle of his living room and the wife bitching at him about it. The panel suggests him revving up the motorcycle to drown the wife's hollering out. It seems to be that kind of show. No elimination or big prize at the end.

I can't wait for this show to start. The commercials look hilarious! All they keep saying is "Thursday nights", but I haven't caught a date the show will debut. Is anyone interested in this show?

I'm awake. No...not all the time. Cabin fever, can't go anywhere, and nothing on TV. What else is there to do? I'm manless until tomorrow evening.

I would think any road w/ the name 'Mountain' in it would not be good. All the curves and hills and shade. 34 degrees outside. Probably not the best of road conditions.

I would call in and tell them you got in a wreck last night on your way home from work and your NEW car is not drivable. Your life is way more valuable. Ask your sick child who needs you.
