The Bumblebee Bakery is another of the small businesses doing well. It's great to see that they are doing so well that they had to expand. We love their goodies!!

It could have been us. Do you remember what type of car?? If it had been us, there would have probably been 2 cars with Paulding plates. We had to take 2 cars. And, knowing us, we would have acknowledged a neighbor. We just got back this afternoon. Had a great time, and although I looked, didn't see many Georgia plates. Curious though.....

When I was in college, one of our professors made up a tune to help us remember how to spell "environment". Most were spelling it "enviroment" and I guess it got to him. I've never forgotten that one, and see it misspelled all the time.

Those are really awesome crackers!! My husband LOVES them! Everytime I'm there though, I forget to pick some up :-( Publix has them too, of course in a teeny tiny bag.. You just can't beat Sam's.

I am a Pre-K teacher, and at our center we have 3 classes. Our early class begins at 7:50 and ends at 2:20. My class starts at 8:00 and ends at 2:30 and the third is staggered 10 minutes after. We have a lot of parents in the same boat, and they are able to manage just fine getting home to their school-agers. We also give a 15 minute grace period (till 2:45) before ASP begins. If you pm me, I can let you know where I'm at.

I've been doing a diet similiar to the Adkins diet for the last 4 months, called the Dukan Diet. Lean protein, and non-fat dairy only in the initial phase (usually 3-10 days, depending on the amt of weight you need to lose). After the initial phase you add non-starchy vegetables every other day. I've lost 35 pounds thus far and love it. It's been really easy to stay on. Choibani yogurt has been my saving grace Good Luck to you!

I just want to thank my kids' bus drivers and all the other drivers out there that are taking the extra time to pick up and drop off our kids at their houses in this freezing weather. My kids catch the bus up the hill from our house, and I leave in the morning before they do, so it is a relief knowing that they are not standing there in the cold. Thank you for caring so much for our children!

Try spraying some cooking spray on cookie sheets and use those. My kids went sledding down the hill in front of our house last ice storm and they worked just as good as a sled.

My Kids went sledding down the road in front of our house (we live on a hill) on some of my old cookie sheets!!! It's the closet they've gotten to sledding since we moved down south!!!! They had a blast!

My dd has been in GS for a couple of years now. I did ask why we are selling so early this year, and the response was that it was by parent's requests. Sales actually started a week ago, even before Christmas. I guess the thought is that since many families get together over the holidays that it is a good time to hit up the relatives, who they normally would not see once the holidays are over. Personally, my dd and I may get out some this week, but I have been in no rush to get out and sell at this point. My dd loves GS, by the way. She has a very active troup and they do a lot througho
