I spent the weekend cutting my plants and flowers down so we could blow the leaves out that were piling up in the flower beds. I know we have had some light frost in some areas, but we have not had enough here to even burn the plants. I pulled and cut green and blooming plants simply because it is getting so late I figured I would end up doing it in really cold weather if I didn't get it done now. Morning thoughts!

There was actually an intervention to re domesticate me! For some reason they miss the person who's toilets you could eat off of and begged them to get together for a meal. They were all busy with their social lives and working all the time, so I got a life. I haven't cooked a holiday meal in over 5 years, I kinda liked it that way! Oh well the good dishes needed dusting!

Good Morning CC., LR., and CO. !!! I see us early risers are up and at it! I just put a 20lb ham in the oven. We are having the kids over for an early Thanksgiving dinner. We will be going to Florida for the actual holiday. I am so glad that it is going to be a beautiful day, we can sit out on the porch awhile and catch up. I kind of got pushed into it, but now I am glad I did. I just get so busy and sometimes these things just seem like more work. I hope they come early so we can have lots of time together.

The topic is fine as long as it stays facts. It's when the I heard starts, especially as it pertains to the children. It is shocking to us all, some of us socialized and did business with these folks and they seemed nice enough. I was not close to them but it is simply shocking to me to find out that I would even know somebody involved with something like this.

You are absolutely right Tona, I am glad they were caught. We have had 2 meth labs busted in our subdivision. I don't feel sorry for anyone that gets busted for drugs. Drugs are destroying families in our county at an alarming rate. It effects all of us, people are stealing and robbing to feed their habits, just read the incidents reports that Pubby publishes. I know many are soft on the Marijuana issue, personally I am not. I did find it interesting that they were shipping it to Florida. Must not be much of a market for it here. From what I hear Paulding residents prefer meth.

I know that there were many details left out of the first story that was linked on the site. Many wondered how people could be arrested with no actual drugs found according to that story. This link is legitimate with more details. We know that well known members of our community have been arrested and the authorities are taking action. If they are found guilty they will be punished. Our judicial system says innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, we all need to remember that. Prayers for Mr. Richardson, depression is a seriously fatal disease. It is also an embarrassing one for many that have it. I hope that he gets all the help he needs, and the compassion he deserves as he works through it.
