The postman may have a point, it seems like we are not getting anywhere with prevention. We may have to give kids tools to cope with bullies. The truth is kids will be kids, the bullies will have to deal with guilt now or later. How do we get behavioral science taught in the classroom? I don't know what it will take. It is not just bullying, it is dysfunction, abuse, self discipline. All those things that are tragically effecting our young people.

I will be going to see him tomorrow at some point. If you want to drop something by the office like snack baskets, or gas cards that would be fine.

Like I said I recognized a handful of folks. Nice folks to deal with all the way around.

I cried through most of it also. I was bullied in middle school. There were a group of them on the school bus. This was how they entertained themselves to and from school on the long ride home. Their favorite thing to do, they were all in high school by the way was to turn their class rings around and hit every other kid on the back of the head as they passed. One of the girls was about 5'10, she sits behind me one day and for the umpteenth time pops me on the back of the head. I just snapped and pulled her by the hair over in my seat. It took three people to stop me from slamming her hea

I am talking about glass pipes and grinders in a display case next to the cash register.

I ask about horses, the answer was liability insurance. Rodeos, fairs, events with any live animals are getting very expensive to cover and people don't want to pay the type of admission fees it takes to cover these expenses. this is what happened to our local rodeo. You are going to see jumpies, dunking booths and other things less and less at small events and venues.

Actually we are trying to replace most of our appliances with energy efficient ones. We use solar energy to heat our pool. I will be driving the wheels off of my suburban. The plan is to hold onto it as long as I can in hopes that electric car technology will improve each year, but it will be next car. If this was to be our retirement home we would be looking at solar panels. I can think of no better way to retire than to have a home paid for and to be off the grid.

The worse thing is the American people will be left behind because of the power of super corporations over our government. They don't care about the American people they care about their bottom line. They live in the present they only care about the money they have today, they care about their lifetime and their heirs.

What really bothers me about it, is what it says about our community when 1/2 of the privately owned convenience stores in the county have this sitting next to the register.

The kids were having the time of their lives yesterday, riding wooden horses, dressed up in cowboy cloths and shooting pop guns. I don't think they liked sitting still!!

I am heading home yesterday from a long day at the fall festival and public safety appreciation day. I see a banner on HWY 61 n that says Shoot out at Al's corral. My curiosity got the best of me and I start following signs and wind around to a gravel road, then dirt and end up in a field marked for parking with orange ribbon. About that time a tractor pulling a wagon comes up and I climb on board. I start asking the driver about where I am. He tells me a little, but I am not prepared for what I see. We top the hill and here is a little western town and a gunfight going on. I just cau

The answer LINK Despite the decrease of subsidies across the continent, Europe's use of solar power continues to increase. According to a report by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, two thirds of the world's increase in solar power capacity came from within the EU last year. Last year 46.1GW of new energy capacity was installed in Europe, with 56 percent of that using photovoltaic technology. That means the EU currently meets two percent of all of its electricity demand using solar power -- and while that might not sound like a lot, it's enough to power all of

All I can say folks is QTEE does not carry this stuff. I don't care if it is legal. Generally when most of our convenience stores are resold the pipes and the grinders show up next to the cash register. Not just that they become smellier and dirtier by they day. I prefer not to patronize them. It's a free country they can sell what they want. And I can spend my money where I want to. I don't want to spend it at stores that hope to make a buck off off drug paraphernalia. I assume they are choosing the type of customers they want, and it is not me.

Never a dull weekend for Paulding thats for sure! I am planning on attending this. Some of you may know Pat of Pat's Apparel. She and I were talking about this the other day, how much we love these things and the hubby's not so much. Pat and I are getting together a group of ladies that would like to go together, we are trying to get 10 ladies in all. The tickets are 25, but you can sponsor a table that seats 10 for 300.00. The idea we came up with is to get 10 ladies to pay 30 each to sponsor a table for Pat and pat will deck us out in gowns and mask. I would love to get enough for 2 tabl

Sending this to the top for folks that have not seen it, what a great way to spend a day!!!

Good morning! I am headed for the shower in a minute. What a great day to live in Paulding. I am going to start with downtown Dallas at the Arts festival then move down to the new courthouse for the public safety event. All of it is free, the weather is great, and I am excited. One of the best things about these events is running in to so many folks and getting the hugs and catching up!!!

This is my question, if we are comparing schools some ranked at the top and some at the bottom why aren't we studying what makes a school ranked at the top and replicating it? I see the charter school more as a threat, that says we have ask you to improve the Georgia school system and you have done nothing. I am not against the idea, but I am skeptical about the execution of it. We need to take a long hard look at the lottery which comes down to allowing a corporation to come in here and raise funds for education. I believe the last time I checked that 1/2 of the state budget or clos

I have to say I really enjoyed it! I was not the least bit nervous or afraid. I would definitely do it again. I understand now why people get the flying bug, nothing can compare to the sense of freedom you get. It is exhilarating I am really looking forward to this show.

I didn't think to ask, I am paying to be entertained all day, just like I pay to get into the movies or Six Flags. You only pay if you park at the airport and you will have to get there early for that.
