  1. Here is some info on the Red Light Therapy bed I was talking about. http://redlighttherapy.info/red-light-collagen-rejuvenation/
  2. You may want to try using an all natural soap - and a VERY good moisturizer. My son has very bad acne and since I work at a tanning salon - he is able to use our Red Light Therapy bed and tan some - that has helped tremendously. You may also want to try Preperation H - after they wash their face at night but that on there and sleep in it - it helps a lot. Good luck!
  3. I use to work for her husband Gene and met her a couple of times. She was a great woman!
  4. and again- I agree. I've been through all of this before and my friend is new to the whole thing. All it does is confuse the kids and give them a false hope that mom and dad will work things out and that someone the girlfriend is in the way of that happening.
  5. See that's what I think too! That's what I asked my friend- what happens next year or the year after that? He told her it was the first Christmas that he wouldn't be there and that the kids had asked him if he was going to be there. They had planned to do Christmas at his house with them later that morning. Then after the kids talked to their mom, all of that changed. I think the mom is using the kids to manipulate the dad and try to cause trouble in their relationship.
  6. Ok- I have a friend who has been dating this guy for about 6 months. The guy has talked about them getting married and moving in together. They are very happy. The guy is a pretty good dad and loves his kids. The issue of Christmas came up and he wants to spend the night at his ex wifes house (who has great contempt and disgust towards- so my friend tells me), but his reasoning is - he's always been there for Christmas morning and doesn't want his kids to feel bad because he isn't there. My friend doesn't believe that anything is going on between the two of them, but I told her that I don
  7. I completely agree Spunkywman! I take my blanket we got as bus driver appreciation gift one year and cover my legs up with it. I have been threatening to wear my hunting coveralls on the bus. lol
  8. But he was wounded for our transgressions,he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:3 Just stand on the promise of His word! Prayers said for you all for healing, peace and comfort during this time!
  9. bAWAHAHAHAHAHA   Glad I stocked up on that the other day so I don't run into you on that isle!!!
  10. Oh dear- running out the door for the bread and milk!!!!!
  11. You could always think about it this way: Their salary, (like everyone who works for the state) comes from the state budget, the money for the state budget comes from taxes that are paid, they receive a check for their work (of which they pay taxes), so in all reality if you look at it that way, they are actually paying part of their own salary. I for one am thankful for the job that all of our LEO's do and I know that when I pull up to the school in the bus and the kids see a LEO car, (even if they are just dropping off their child), it makes a difference!
  12. So are ya gonna be hollering- War Tigers, I mean Go Eagles, Dang-it, I mean - Tigers Bluex, oh wait - no that last ones what I'll be hollering!!! GO USC!!!!!
  13. This one either!!!! As a die hard BAMA fan, I can NOT in good faith pull for the AuBUMS when they play USC!!! I will be pulling for USC!!!!
  14. In spite of everything- I have so much to be thankful for this year! I have my two wonderful boys, who are healthy and for the first time in a long time I have peace in my home - even though we struggle- the peace is worth it. I'm thankful that I have wonderful parents who picked me out of all the choices they had, they are my backbone! I'm thankful that I know God and what a wonderful blessing that is. I'm thankful for my cousin and every other soldier and family of a soldier who makes a tremendous sacrifice for our country and our freedoms. I'm thankful for my friends that keep me l
  15. Thank you. Some things are just hard to make the kids understand.
  16. could use some prayer. Not looking for sympathy - just need a little strength and peace as a single parent (forgot how hard it can be during the holidays) to make it through! Thanks!
  17. LMBO!!!!! I went one year to the outlet mall on 400 at midnight- NEVER EVER EVER again!!! I will be in the woods hunting!!!!!
  18. So why not just require them to put a warning label on it? Something like - If you're an idiot and drink to much of this stuff - it'll kill ya dumb arse!
  19. Still have this china and would LOVE to get rid of it!!! Please just make me an offer!!
  20. It's just me and the boys now and their "dad" doesn't do anything - as far as helping with the boys, not evening paying for the fun stuff! Yet he always manages to find money to go out and do what he wants to do. As for child support enforcement - that is the biggest waste of tax payer dollars- EVER!!!! I just always stress out a little this time of year- lol - and tell myself- just make it till Feb. (taxes back) and then pay ahead on the house payment and utilities- somehow we always manage.
  21. Just wonder if I'm the only one who feels this way? I get tired of being the responsible parent all of the time!! I love my kids and am glad they feel like they can always count on me- but sometimes I just wish I could be a bum and have no bills, no responsibilities, especially this time of the year! **smallventover-justhadtogetitout**
