When I was able to go to yard sales regularly I would do that. My closet would be FULL of NEW items that were great for gift giving. When DS or I needed something to give for b'day, Christmas, etc, etc we would go shopping REALLY close by. It is amazing the thigs people get rid of at yard sales they have never used and simply don't need.
