ME TOO!!! I was hoping she was GONE - OUTTA HERE! Karen is gone - I didn't think the Judges would use their one and only save this early. I liked her but I think her singing so much in Spanish may have hurt her in the voting? I agree with you - I liked her much more than the other girls - especially Naima!! I am sure J-Lo wanted to save her. Karen was one of her favorites and that was what the discussion she was having with Steven Tyler appeared to be.

YES the cop was ugly and uncalled for. Even to the point the officer riding with him that was in training him out on it. And, if "this man hasn't been personally affected by a drunk driver?" and he cannot separate it from his profession when he pulls over someone driving then he needs to change professions. No....his "treatment" was what it was - and she is NOT trying to "get out" of what she is guilty of. She accepts responsibility for her stupidity and will accept the punishment she is given. She is NOT putting the blame on the deputy and IS putting the blame on herself. Just sayin'. No one

It is a shame they are so many miles apart. And you are right, they will attract different vendors but it will be difficult for customers/buyers to be able to attend both. Unfortunately those of us already scheduled to set up Downtown will miss the craft show entirely. Good Luck with the craft show and I'm sure it will be a success as well. Maybe when both events are planned for the fall they will be on different dates?

She does expect to pay a hefty fine and serve time and/or community service. She isn't needing an attorney to get out of it!!! But, have you read the Georgia DUI laws?? They are very complex and confusing. As with any charge she is entitled to legal representation. And you are correct, there is absolutely NO excuse. I am SOOOOO Thankful she nor anyone else was injured/killed because of her stupidity!!! Believe me she has heard her share of lectures and she is no dummy either. But, she DID make a DUMB mistake. YES she does. She realizes her stupidity and it was her first and LAST time. YEP. She talked to Jeanne O'Halleran and when she explained what happened and what was said, Ms. O'Halleran could tell her who the officers were. Yes, you read that right.

She blew .017. A woman that was in the holding cell with her told her they wouldn't take her from the court but give her a certain amount of time to turn herself in. That is what that woman was there for - she had turned herself in and was waiting for it to be 3:00 Sunday afternoon for her to complete her 24 hours as she had been bonded out prior to serving the mandatory 24 hours.

I have no idea but I don't think so. She said she "guessed" it looked suspicious with her going in to the bathroom and just buying gum and cigarettes??? She said she wasn't swerving or anything and he pulled her over as soon as she pulled out of the parking lot. Plus, he was a real J**ka*s. Some can be - give them a little power and it goes to their head. Even the policeman that was in the car with him training told him he didn't have to be so ugly toward her.

She left her house (where she had been drinking) to go to QT to get cigarettes. She said she went to the restroom, bought gum and cigarettes and when she pulled out of the QT parking lot he pulled her over. He wanted to know what she was doing out that time of night.
