True it does feel good after saving and saving to walk in and pay cash for something and not have that monthly payment hanging over your head, the only monthly bill we have is hubby's truck payment and of course utility bills, but everything else is paid off. right now doctor visits and dentist visits are taking away from our little nest egg, but I am thankful we have it to go pay cash with. when I was trying to stop smoking this is what I did: stayed busy stayed away from people that I normally smoked with changed my habits, example, if I smoked after I ate, then I would go for a walk instead. if your friend is an alcoholic it will be very hard for them to quit on their own. they will need some kind of support..
