It is considered an "act of God". the neighbor with the damage has to file with their company even though it was your tree. You could take care of it yourself though. that would be the right thing but your insurance will not pay.

You should have been out in that mess. Good Lord. We ran our last tree into a house / power line call at about 1400 hours. I literally went to a call that came in at 0830 at about 1330. I think they just started holding them if no one was hurt or in danger. It seems like they set the limit at about 4 engines responding at any given time. When 1 finished the next one would get a call. I'm not certain about that, but it seems that way. I saw 1 flat house and 1 really banged up new truck. there was also a whole bunch of other ones. I'm Beat.

About 2345 last night I was unable to access Pcom. I use wireless at home. I was still able to access other sites for verification of functionality. even after that when I returned I still was unable to access Pcom.

They just get torn down. I have put them up with a ladder and they still get to them and tear them down. These people know that nothing is going to be done to them and they are just bold as hell. I think they are playing with fire.
Etch the posted sign into the fence. If it is wood that is. Also,if it is properly posted and you catch people there, then you can prosecute right away. They have already been warned so you do not have to provide any further warning. SW says to make a sign, put it on a tall post in the pond. I like that idea.

It was securely attached to a wooden foundation and the front was lifted from the ground and contents were swirled out under it.
Happened before 6pm yesterday.

It wasn't expensive and was several years old but it WAS mine and on of a matched set. The fact that someone took it is worse than the crime itself. Bikes are easily purchased for $10 at the local garage sales. Why do they feel the need to steal one. They won't get $$ for it. <_ we live off hendrix at austin bridge.> -

After many years of washing clothes and making the simple request that items be placed in the wash right side out but to no avail. I have adopted a new philosophy. I hang them or fold them as I find them. With the exception of underwear. I can see where they are easily turned inside out in the wash. A pair of jeans with 1 leg in and 1 leg out? I don't think so.

The guy doesn't seem to be too bright. He was trying to make a case that the FD and DPS didn't know anything about the station and what it was being built to handle. It was old to Graham that there would be a ladder truck and he tried to make a case that there was an issue since it was a two bay station. Paulding station 1 is dual bay and has a rescue, ladder, engine and battalion commander vehicle.
You would be amazed at what they cram int Cobb station # 8! I think it is 5 bays. It has Engine 8, Truck 8, Haz mat 8 and the Hazmat trailer, 900 command unit, PDs bomb squad and boat, PDs armored car. Man I do not even know what I've missed. I do not get out there all that often.

Feelip, I hope you can explain to Tommie Graham that a two bay station can house a rescue, engine and ladder truck. He couldn't seem to get that one last year.
Cobb's station #1 houses that same equipment. Truck 1, Engine 1 and Rescue 1.

My biggest in life can apply to many things. Move with a purpose or get out of the way. Walking, driving whatever, where ever & whenever. At any given time, someone is pressed for time. They just want to accomplish a task. If you are "ambling through walmart don't park you buggy on one side of the aisle and shop the other. Do not walk 4 abreast when the aisle can only accomodate 4. The same general rules apply while driving. Text while you're at home, put your makeup on at home and such. Anything that slows others progress unduely should not be done in public. No I do not condone driving about with you hair on fire. Too many are just lost in their own little world puttering around while others are busy.

yes, inside the fence we had it landscaped. and had bermuda sod laid last spring, now it is brown, green is starting to pop through, but not much. Just wondering about how much it would cost for that small space.
Most lawn care co. would charge about $35 / month. It is a very small area but I doubt they would go below that. My concern for your yard is the shade. The trees are on the East and North with the house on the South. Am I mistaken or is your yard shaded for most of the day? Bermuda does not like shade. Even Fescue has a shade tolerant variety. The sod will live no matter for a few years but the shade will thin it dramatically.
On the other Hand, you should be able to easily treat the yard yourself. Keep some weed and feed on it. Apply after a light rain. Do not water in, the weed killer needs to adhere to the weeds to kill them.

had our backyard sodded this time last year. now what do I need to do? nothing and it will turn green again, or do I need to call the company that sodded it and get them out to treat it? I have no clue about this stuff.
I've seen your yard. What sod did you put down? Are you talking about inside the fence?
