  1. IT ALWAYS SEEMS AS SOMEONE ELSE HAS THE PERFECT LIFE...BUT IN YOUR LINE OF WORK YOU KNOW THAT WHAT THINGS APPEAR TO BE IS NOT WHAT THEY REALLY ARE..

I HATE TO SEE SOMEONE I KNOW AND LIKE TO BE UNHAPPY...AND ALL I CAN DO IS PRAY FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY...SINCE I AM NOT A CLOSE FRIEND THE PERSONAL

DETAILS DO NOT MATTER, JUST THE FACT YOU NEED PRAYERS IS ENOUGH..I WILL KEEP YOU ON MY NIGHTLY PRAY LIST....UNTIL YOU TELL ME THAT EVERYTHING IS BETTER...

Looks like one of our pups. ;) Tow, you will get through this just fine. Just for you though:

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

    “You promised me Lord,

that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

  2. SW has never been mad at any new toy / tool I buy. She knows full well that most of the time I use them on paying jobs or at the very least to improve HER home. Yep I said her's, she just lets me stay here and do chores and pay bills. ;) What you got a problem with honesty?!?

  3. Marriage is a legal contract. The cremony that takes place is the only religious aspect of it.

Once you sign that document, you are married according to the law, not god.

Now, that being said. Ms. California did give her opinion on this matter, and that is what was asked of her. Why should she PC if that is what she believes.

I applaude her for saying what she truly believes and not what may be the politcal answer.

I personally believe that marriage should be legal for all Americans. If using the word marriage is uncomfortable to people, then just call it something else, but with the same rights.

Again the only reason they want to have a "marriage contract" is for the benefits. If they already had those benefits they would not care about "being married". Therefore their thinking , in my opinion, is that it is easier to change the definition of marriage than to challenge the entities they want benefits from. If They change the definition it is a slam dunk against the benefits supplier, they can not deny claims. I say let them persue this in court not in the dictionary.

  4. I'll reply this way. She was asked her opinion and that is wht she gave. There is no right and wrong. Perez was wrong to berate her that way. I would expect some legal action after that.

Other than that when people want to be together that is their business not mine. As far as the marriage part, look up the definition. Why do they want to have marriage rights. Just to be right in the eyes of God. Don't think so. This is just a fast and somewhat easy way to get "marriage rights" provided by business and employers to them without all the legal hassle of suing each individual entity for those extentions. That is my opinion.

  5. You're right CE. The clippings run off into the creek or storm drain, which eventually makes its way into the sewer, which eventually has to be treated, which eventually is sent into the water source, which eventually makes its way into a water treatment facility, which will cost more to treat before it is sent into the drinking water source for the next county downstream. Not wanting to sound like Ms Earth Day here, but why not bag and compost or mulch? It's better for the environment. (No, I think this way all the time, not just on Earth Day.)

Not true. Sewer sysytems are supposed to be closed. Storm run off will go into a retention pond /area. Runoff from roads and such would simply overwhelm the system if it were allowed into the sewr treatment facility.

  6. The Neighbors I am talking about have been foreclosed on and are long gone

my question is who cuts their yard?

It hasn't happened in GA yet, but some states and localities are making the banks keep up the yards on their foreclosed homes. If they do not they get cited. ;)

  7. Feel Free to add...

When you mow- you should not have the lawn mower blower thingy spitting out into the road almost hitting cars and then you do not even clean it up. Okay, I am done.

I always make a few laps, bare minimum, with the chute pointing in. I genarlly will not start before 0800 during the week a little later on weekends. I will not cut for business on Sunday and rarely at my own home on Sunday. I will blow any debris left out of the roadway. When cutting beside the roadway, I stop while cars come by. I do not want to risk throwing anything out and hitting them. I always put out cones on the approaching side of the road for my and my equipments safety when I must park in the roadway. Those are a few of the ones that come to mind. ;)

  8. My daughter and I went this afternoon while the boys went to the drag races. They didn't get to see any races, so they will be home soon. :(

It's a good "feel good" movie.

It must be a girl thing. A "feel good" movie made you cry? Anyway, go break out your stash. That will make you feel better. ;) And I fond SW sitting on the sofa yesterday EATING PART OF MY STASH!! :o That is grounds for marital disturbance isn't it? And then she gives me 2, and they aren't even frozen anymore. I think I know where Dis jr. got his cookie fetish from.

  9. Something made the officer think there were 2 separate collisions. It sounds like the officer received evidence of a chain reaction collision instead of the way you daughter is explaining it. The citation is nothing more than an accusation...now she goes to court and the judge decides.

I concur. If I had to work an accident where car # 1 was stopped. Then car # 2 struck it and then car #3 struck it it would be two seperate accidents. If car #1 was stopped and car #2 was rearended (Whether it was moving or not isn't really an issue) by # 3 and pushed into #1 then it was 1 accident. As I said it IS possible for car #2 to be coming to a safe stop while still moving and then be hit by #3. It would be rare but does happen. I would make certain that this was understood in court.

  10. Sorry about his injury. I'm sure he will heal nicely. ;) We got the word last year at Cobb that, even though we are required to wear bunker pants, gloves and helmets when operating our chainsaws, Workmans comp will not pay for a leg injury because the pants are not rated for that kind of use. <_ go figure. so what did we do all monday morning let me guess... we... ummm... cut up downed trees. src="%7B___base_url___%7D/uploads/emoticons/default_rolleyes.gif" alt="">

  11. As many people as there were tea partying, yesterday, there has to be a lot of us making over $150,000 a year, because they want be getting in on the tax cut.

I was there. My wife and I together do not make that much. <_ let alone have that much extra money laying around to pay for everthing our government is supposed do and support all those who not want work.>
