They are watching America being transformed right before their eyes. When it is done they won't like it.

I got word of this last week. Another Congresswoman's name was in the story I got. Where there is smoke there is very often fire. I am also hearing that he may resign from Congress altogether. May make that announcement as early as tomorrow. We shall see.
-
I saw it. Looks like Blake might need some legal advice.
-
I heard it was good but nothing else. Who knows what happened?
-
He would most likely have lost his next election too. Act like a RINO too long and that can happen to you. I hear John McCain is in trouble too.
-
Because he is a drunk....
-
Trey Gowdy has said he is not going to run for Speaker. If they elect Kevin McCarthy it will be in with the old again. I will be watching Tom Graves vote since he sponsored McCarthy for the position he now holds. I would like to see Mark Meadows run and win. He is the one who got the ball rolling to oust Boehner before their last break.

Whether he is or he isn't is not the point. His message resonated with the people. The establishment thought they could get Bush in there with no problem. Trump threw a monkey wrench in that plan. I say hats off to him for that. He won't be the nominee though in my opinion. The establishment may still be able to push one of their guys in by portraying him as an outsider. For those folks who think the GOP can't win you might want to take a look at the stock market on a down day. If that is happening at election time it won't even be close unless the machines are rigged.
-
Maybe he is leaving for that reason and maybe not. The Hill reported that the Democrats would vote to keep him and he could win. I think he sees the handwriting on the wall. Trump's poll numbers have been a wakeup call to some folks like Boehner. Their days are numbered unless Americans vote in a squishy moderate like Rubio or someone like Bush who in my opinion is no conservative,

That would be fine except for the folks who yell that before they take a plane full of people down or shoot them where they stand. I will run thank you. -

You were the one who said you had known him for a long time. If you do then you can surely pick up the phone and ask. Beats asking folks on a message board. I can only base my comment on knowing him myself and my dealings with him. I intend to ask him what motivated his decision when I see him. Still suggest you do the same. -
Something I have wanted to see for a long time. It will be interesting to see who the next one will be.

If you think that then you really do not know Sheriff Gary Gulledge. He does nothing because of politics. Personally I think it appears to be a movement on the part of law enforcement officials across this state. We have Douglas, Gilmer, Paulding, Polk, and Haralson that I am aware of. Bet there are more every day. JMO -

But it is a public message since it is on our money and since it is the National motto. -

But he/she puts their life on the line for the PUBLIC. If it gives them comfort to have it on the car the PUBLIC should not want to stand in the way. JMO -

I will stand behind Sheriff Gulledge and his department. I think speaks to the kind of character of folks who would try to stop an officer from having that on his/her car. -

I am not going to run if I see or hear "In God We Trust" I might if I see or hear "Allahu Akbar". Gilmore, Polk, and Douglas Counties are doing it too. I think there are probably more in Georgia. -

We should all just throw our own rights, also covered under the Constitution, out the window? I don't think so if they are covered by the state RFRA and everyone's rights can be preserved. It is apparent in this Topic that those who preach tolerance are not really that tolerant. -

They don't get that your life can change and it is never too late for redemption. This is a great song by Randy Travis that describes how that can happen. Some of the lyrics: That farmer left a harvest, a home and eighty acres, The faith an' love for growin' things in his young son's heart. An' that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children: Did her best to give 'em all a better start. An' that preacher whispered: "Can't you see the Promised Land?" As he laid his blood-stained bible in that hooker's hand. There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the -

The real kicker was the Religious Freedom Restoration Act in her state which DID cover her as an elected official. They threw her in jail instead of doing what they should have done by law in the first place. They took her name off the licenses. Everyone got what they wanted except for the folks who want this woman crucified for her religious views. -
