In a two person race according to Georgia law the one with the majority wins or so I have been led to believe (for years). No 50 plus one in a race like that.

Pep and Kathy apparently won. It is 7 votes in favor of Theresa.

There is a difference of 7 votes in the Mayor's race and there is some hold up with declaring the winner.

Officers will soon learn that saying no or just watching instead of acting is in their best interest if they want to keep their jobs. They have learned that in places New York and Ferguson and the crime rate has gone up. They are not the enemy and many find themselves in a tough spot.

Hey, not my idea. I learned about it after a kid attacked another at a Paulding County School. Found out the kid had been in trouble before but was back in school. Things sure have changed since I went to school.

Schools have students who are on probation now. Some have a history that need law enforcement in the school. They are aiming for a higher graduation rate and keeping those kids in class.

I would think sending the Feds in to take over this local case is the police state you should be speaking of.
