I don't remember that line, sorry. I speak my mind without vino and I try my best to tell the truth. I just understood better why Veritas wanted everyone to know it was a bogus report that had been around for some time. He/she is very fond of the truth apparently. Maybe we need him/her to run for office. It might be a first. You know, a truth loving politician.

I just figured out recently that your screen name means "truth" or Goddess of Truth. I think screen names say something about us.

I agree LTD but I keep going back to the fact that if Avery were really a conservative he would not be running as a Democrat! I might have bought that if he had run as an Independant or Libertarian. He might actually have gotten my vote. You can never tell how an election is going to go and a large number of the folks who voted in the Democrats in both the House and the Senate had no clue that they would go against the will of the people just because they could. They bought the old Hope and Change line too. No way do I want to take that chance in Georgia. I won't use my vote to help it

If you thought that is what I was doing then you missed my point too. I think if you want to continue discussing the runoff and the 2 candidates in the race that a new topic is in order. Mr Golden is no longer a candidate.

I am back to Maybe voting for Deal Hubby is for Handle and does not like Deal.

He wanted to test all of the teachers instead of the kids. No I don't think we would be any better off. NCLB, IDEA. and unfunded mandates would have had the same results I fear. Now the State has voted to accept National Standards for all schools (I think I read that). I believe the Federal Government will just make it worse.

Let's just say that sometimes they don't have all of the facts about the folks running. I don't like being played and that is what I think you did.

I have already stated that I will not put any faith in what you have to say and as for giving the PC folks credit, keep in mind that Kathy Cox won Paulding County and she wasn't even running.

YOU posted the article here. It is quite obvious why. The information was placed so folks here would see it and you hoped it would reflect badly on Golden and Stout and in favor of Braddock. I just feel suckered to have jumped to the conclusion that a Stout supporter did it. I won't make a mistake like that again.

I always thought it odd that Preston chose to jump into the AG race so late instead of taking on Casey Cagle. Cagle was the one who really caused him grief about his vote on the Hospital tax and caused him to lose his chairmanship. A big part of the job as AG has to do with management and Sam has a great track record there Preston does not. Sam also practices law. I just think his qualifications for the job are better.

The last article I read said that the company has decided not to go for any government contracts. Not sure it even exists any more. I thought he said that the cars that are totaled and put back on the road no longer have to meet the requirements that they used to. He said he tried to protect the people of Georgia who buy them. I will have to get a better explanation tomorrow.

Yes. I saw him explain that in the last debate I watched. I will see both him and Karen tomorrow and I will ask him again. Will see Sam Olens and Preston Smith too.
