I hate them too Pubby!! I hope they throw the book at them! My computer blocked the two attempts on it thank goodness.

I have a better excuse. My mistake was a typo. The keys on my key board are malfunctioning and if I don't take the time to really check this will happen. I have to laugh at what ends up on my screen sometimes.

My computer blocked two attempts today when I have logged on to p.com. One just a few minutes ago. It was the legup.info you have posted. Also said it was a trojan.

I don't think you will either. I think Animal is speaking with a mouth full of sour grapes. I say prove it too, Animal!!!

I am glad you are really thinking this out and basing your vote on what you think is in the best interest of the county.

I actually went to the Chamber website a couple of days ago and I did not see it. I saw a Governmental Meeting (I think). I was not saying that Beverly did not know. I don't know what she knew or didn't know. I did not know and I read a lot. Oh and thanks for the slam of my screen name!

Sounds a little like the old excuses by the old BOC. Why do you think it changed by such a huge number of votes?
-
I would like to know the answer to that too. I know why the commission changed in the election of 2008. Taxes and the increase of them would make a difference in my vote. The Commissioners who vote for one will own it. Isn't is funny that it is the same day as the run off election. It might have changed my vote in the primary.
-
I did not see a public announcement of this event. Surepip how can you say the voters do not know how the candidates answered if the public was not there and knew nothing about it?
-
I agree! Love the Dallas New Era. I get my news on line. I quit taking the printed papers years ago because I decided they were liberal and biased. I would not spend much time on line at a news site I felt that way about either. I don't go to the Huffington Post for that reason. I would love to see one that is totally fair and balanced with no political agenda.

Pubby, you really don't want to know what I think of Oliver Stone. Unfortunately a lot of folks who watch his movies take them to be historical fact. I am glad to see that you do recognize that he may have his own agenda. He is great at making movies but it would be nice if all of the folks who watch them understood that they are just movies sometimes with a grain of truth. -

I guess we will just have to disagree because I don't think Obama has any intention of giving up his power. I think we should all be very nervous. -

Pubby all an administration has to do is say that department is no longer necessary. Some folks get a chance to move and others retire and still others just lose their jobs. Civil service is a good place to be if an administration is not focused on downsizing. This one isn't. They are adding to their rolls. The IRS will be over seeing health care and they will be adding a lot of the very jobs we are talking about. There will be no privacy anymore for anyone. It was bad enough having them over your taxes! -

I hate to tell you this but when there is a change in administration a lot of those civil service jobs change too. Under Obama HIS GOVERNMENT is the only place where the jobs numbers have increased. -

Thank you Sheriff Gulledge! I went to the meeting and I am so glad that I did. You gave us so much great information on the programs that benefit all of the citizens of Paulding. I will be signing up for Nixle program right away. It was great to see Kim Cobb. Her input was very informative too. -

I agree! Obama owns it now! -
Barnes is an early supporter of Obama and donated to his campaign. He would go along with the government power grab (I believe). I don't want any more Federal control in Georgia. I don't like Sonny and I will be glad to see a change. We just need the "RIGHT CHANGE"!
-
Nathan will beat Handel and you would also vote for Barnes over Handel .
-
No, you will take Avery over both of them and that is the goal you have with any vote you cast in this election. I disagree with you and I will take Braddock or Stout over the Democrat.
-
Apparently some folks do. The biggest criticism I heard after the special election was that he did not stand up and tell everyone about this skeleton in his closet. Well he has now. If he wins this election it will be because the citizens of Paulding, at least the ones who go to the polls, have decided that he is the best candidate for the job.

We finally agree on something! -
I have thought the same thing so many times lately. I don't know who made up that little bit of wisdom but I don't think it is true at all. Words can hurt almost as much as a physical blow. JMO
