Some of us are already doing that Nick and you can look for us to be asking you questions now that you are a part of the system. -
Anybody want to do a back to school coffee on Friday?

Will do. At least I kept Madea from crying this morning she always does the first day of school. -

Sounds like my Hubby's directions. There really wasn't a group just me and Madea and someone she knew who happened to come in. Maybe we can do another one in a couple of weeks. My Hubby says that too. -

I voted for him too but that does not mean I won't ask questions and if I feel the BOC is not moving in the right direction they can depend on me to speak up and say so. That is my right as a resident and a taxpayer in Paulding County. I think a lot of questions need to be asked of the candidates and I don't think it is fair to rip to pieces those you decide against. I think the comments about the Galloways and others are totally out of line and inappropriate. -

I did not think it was wise to send the mailer but I don't think that is the reason he had 57 votes fewer than Braddock. It does not matter except to say that the same so called rumors were thrown out on this board about him that you are now throwing out about Crowe. I say prove them or don't use them. -

How many more "what if's" and "I heard's" are you going to throw at this man? I have met him and I think he can do the job. I think it is a low trick to try to pin the hiring of illegals on him without proof. I think you and some others tried to do it to Golden too! I can't vote in this one either but I believe both men are capable and would be good additions to the BOC. -

It won't recover until the taxpayers who can't pay any more taxes have jobs either. The County doesn't have it but the taxpayers don't either. Jobs are the answer. -

I will try to make it. I can't have you crying alone. I may join in because I just realized how old the grand kids are and what grades they will be in. -
Apology accepted. I get very heated about some of these elections too. I just hope we end up with the right candidates in the positions. Even if we did not think they were the right ones during the election.

Maybe he was not at Stars & strikes but I seemed to recall that he was.

I know he was at the Theater. I thought he was at Stars & Strikes. I agree!

No, I wouldn't. She did not have to leave. I can understand Austin wanting to put his own person in the position but she had no obligation to give up a job she needed. I would not insult you with the brainwashed bit by the way. I would respect your right to have your own view and opinion. My assessment of this is not an endorsement by me for any candidate. I can't vote in that post. I think Todd is a great candidate too..

You can blame big business and the CEO's who make big bucks for making a profit but if they leave we are not going to have the jobs they provide. They don't stay in business if they don't make a profit and CEO's worth their salaries help make those profits. The economy will tank even more.

How much do you think they will pay if they leave America? How many jobs will go with them?

Beverly appears to have been smart enough to look out for her retirement (or try to). I can't fault her for that. David could not fire her without the vote of the full Commission, she did not have to quit, she worked out an agreement to give David what he wanted and save her retirement. She ended up being the victim of a reduction in force so I don't know if she was able to keep the retirement. Just says to me that she is smart enough to do the job. I think Todd is too.

I heard Donald Trump say that if the Bush tax cuts go away that is exactly what the businesses will do.

Can someone ask Chairman Austin to chase this one down?
