Nick, I found it very interesting that only 12.5% comes from the Federal Government. How much control do they get for that small amount? How much do their mandates cost? Link: http://www.ajc.com/news/subscribers/state-not-schools-top-1483888.html

I will be Interviewing Chairman Austin this afternoon

Could be an elderly couple who just can't manage the cost or the effort it takes to get the job done. I think we should find out and either try get boy scouts to do it if it is a case of need or get someone to mow the grass and send them a bill. I think there are folks who need to do community service and that sounds like it would fit. Junk can be sold to a junk dealer if a judgement is rendered on that part of the problem. JMO -

No he isn't and I think he is the best candidate. Speeding is a moving violation that can be a danger to the other drivers on the street. Trying to get money out of folks who are already suffering just because they live in a house and can't meet all of their bills is a totally different thing. -

Nope, I have asked them all myself and I have already voted. -
Where did you read that?
-
If it is a supporter then the candidate has the say so about what they put up. If you do it own it. Candidates used to say "and I approve this message". They do not have to do that any longer apparently. None of this changes the sleezy politics aspect of it.

I'd like to know how calling a site out for not having the names of the folks who put it up is defending anyone? Also like to know how calling out folks who send mailers that trash candidates without owning up to sending them has anything to do with supporting any candidate?

Had surgery at Cobb recently and they were super! Could not have asked for better care!

If you are going to set up a wesite to put out info especially hit pieces then don't hide behind a proxy lend your name to it. If you are going to send out a hit piece in the way of mailers then put your name and your candidate's name on it. That is the low road I am referring to.

You might want to look up how many law suits about ridiculous comments on the net have been brought and won recently. I am just passing on info for what it is worth and I am not trying to be ugly.

Since you have asked this is my post over there concerning the site you speak of and I feel this way about all candidates who take the low road: I saw the site yesterday and I think it is a low form of campaigning. I would never vote for someone who was responsible for that kind of mud slinging. If you are going to do it put your name to it. That goes for all candidates and their supporters. The law on that needs to be addressed and changed. I will add that at the end of the day we will all still be neighbors and some of us could lose friendships over this kind of thing. I will

I was speaking of the references to peanut butter and german shepherds in this thread. What are you speaking of. I will still support the one who will vote closest to the way I would vote myself. I think your hits on some folks are sad and ugly.

If they keep it up some of their targets may have law suits on their minds.

Don't ever mess with Mrs B!!!!!!

Not often that I see you and Pubby agree. Have you put forth this idea among our friends? I have actually heard the same idea from some Heath supporters only with Rogers running to help Carruth. I can tell you that I would be very disappointed in him if he was doing it to help either side.

No way! It was a shameful piece and there is no way that a man would put his family through that.

Does this sound familiar? Remember a certain mailer

Someone did that on the mailer sent out about Mike. It does need to stop. Truth is OK and fair game but lies are another subject altogether. These are people's lives they are destroying. -

Mike doesn't have any so someone tried to create some. Looks like it will backfiire. Postman, I don't think you have enough info to know what this is even about. I think your comments are out of place and insulting. -

It was ugly and disgusting. The folks who are responsible should be ashamed! Mike is a good and decent man just the kind we need to stand for office.
