  2. and how is your current mpg figured? gov'ment gonna start doin' road tests for folks?
  3. trail head....... like, places to meet drug dealers and prostitutes after dark? or perhaps lovely landscaped areas to dump bodies? yeah, i'm all for that.
  4. yeah. a lot of fun that sounds like. who considers that a good time???
  5. nah. when i hear "beast", i think big ol' truck.
  6. yeah, um... it's bad enough that folks air their dirty laundry on message boards. national television is a bit much for me to stomach.
  7. i thought you had to go to claims court before you could come one the board and make allegations. maybe pubby changed his mind about that.
  8. i feel the same way about people who don't buckle their kids. (and you'll find that you and i are a lot more alike than what makes you comfortable) funny, that i refuse to wear a seat belt. even as extreme as i am, i know the difference between being grown and making a decision for myself, and being a parent and doing the right thing by my child. yep. my 15 year old has to buckle up. everytime.
  9. close. my point was more............ why don't folks get just as freakin' outraged about little kids who die when mommy/daddy/babysitter can't pull their head out of their ass long enough to buckle up their kids as they do when a drunk driver hits someone/something? no sympathy for the drunk driver, regardles sof who he hits/kills/doesn't kill (not that there should be) but mad sympathy if the mommy/daddy/babysitter survives the crash that kills/maims their unbuckled children why? why tip toe around by saying "they've lost a child, that's punishment enough"? why do we as a soc
  10. if a parent chose not to buckle their child, and then was hit by a person who was not drunk, you would find it an "accident" that the child was killed? i wouldn't. i would view it the same as the drunk who made the choice to drive. the parent made the choice not to buckle the child.
  11. again. not arguing the alcohol point. asking for opinions on the not buckled in point.
  12. i have tattoos on my face. no way in hell i could have "slept through" the procedure....without some serious chemical help.
  13. but, would you consider that an "accident"? i view it more as a "sacrifice" myself.
  14. i'll agree that getting behind the wheel of an automobile after consuming alcohol is a choice. and when someone makes that choice, knowing that the odds are a hell of a lot more favorable of them losing control of their car and hitting/killing someone, it should be considered premeditated. not arguing that fact at all. my question is...........when a parent/guardian/driver of a vehicle puts children in their vehicle without having them in car seats/boster seats/seat belts, can it be considered an accident if one or more of those children is injured/killed in a collision?
  15. what about not buckling up your kids and hitting someone?
  16. it's typically cheaper to have them declawed while under anesthesia from a spy/neuter. talk with your vet about your options.
  17. looking forward to the posts with the rebuilt snappers. my husband is on the look out for a riding one in the 300-400 range. keep us posted!!! (and congratulations!!!!!!)
