i'm trying on the forgotten and the good wife. not sure if either of them are gonna fit. oh, and i hate jaime kennedy. i can't believe she's doing him. gross. ok, wait. what's she wearing? i might watch a lil bit longer.

the damn thing's always over here. background noise. i try to pay attention to house, and criminal minds. fringe grabs my attention, and i'll hang up on you when grey's is on. that's about it.

ugh. this time last year, i was spending my friday night's wondering who bella was gonna sleep with next. what hasn't been outright canceled has been drastically altered. television sucks. yeah, i'm kinda over waiting something out, hoping it'll get better, only to have it turn out even crappier than i thought it could. we're breaking up. it's over.
-
bah! the earth ain't that old.

i'm gonna hafta break up with the ghost whisperer. not only does her hair look like utter fluck, she's not dressing nearly as interesting as she used to, and the shows writers have committed what i consider to be the cardinal sin of prime time. add a brat to the cast to renew interest in the series. blah.

well crap. those aren't exactly things that can be thrown from a float.

Does THis Make Me An "Overprotective" Parent?

you were lucky. my 'pre-cancerous' cells were detected when i was 19. i had more than regular checkups, every six months, after first detection. i had at least one surgical procedure a year to remove parts of my cervix, until finally in 2001 i had a hysterectomy at which point, my cancer had spread to my uterus. i would have gladly traded 7 painful surgeries and two rounds of chemo, the loss of my hair, and custody of my children, for the chance at being vaccinated. even with the risk of side effects. i'm very glad that you were spared my circumstances. -

there are more options than just the little bit of fema assistance that you've received, and i am expecting. do you mind me asking what sort of damages your home incurred, and whether or not you've been in touch with anyone from SBA?
-
fema was here monday. haven't heard anything back from them, yet. i did get a packet in the mail today to file for and sba loan. GT, i'm free on saturday, the ol man's workin' 10 til 10. if you wanna get away from all this mess for a while, we could go to lunch or dinner or whatever.

damn. but on an even funnier note.....when the fema guy came on monday, my terrier brought him the rat he'd been carrying around since last monday. -
if you ASSume that everyone agrees with you, why start a poll? to single out the ones who don't? oh, and i voted. yes i'd lock my kid in his room. for various and assorted reasons. none of them having to do with sleep.
-
kudos to the OP for starting a poll, then claiming not to believe that there are people in this world who would vote yes they might lock their kid in their room. you're speshul.

i'm too busy wondering what jack was doing, if he was home, and why no one ever got upset that this happened at his house.
