precisely why i switched my settings from 'friends of friends' to 'friends only'

this confuses the heck outta me. if she looked both ways before attempting to cross the street to see her brother at school, why didn't she see the car coming? was the car speeding? did it swerve out of it's lane? did she maybe miscalculate how fast the car was going? was the driver ticketed for speeding or failure to maintain lane? i'm genuinely confused as to how someone can look both ways and still get hit.

yes. you are definitely a prude if you can't type the word 'prick' in relation to a needle stick. -

Transit Worker in NJ Fired for Burning Pages from Quran
NumberCruncher replied to stercus tauri's topic in RECENT TOPICS
if he violated the code of ethics at his place of employment, his firing was justifiable. i had to read and sign all sorts of documents when i took my current job. there were many mentions of things that, if done on my own personal time, would cost me my job. i signed all of it. and i believed every word i read. i chose employment and a fat check over some of my 'rights'. and it was a choice. an educated one. should i scream and holler if i get fired for violating my company's code of ethics? nope. and never will. -
morning sunshine! and btw, my cigarettes taste like total crap now. i'm afraid i might have gotten spoiled!

i didn't, but i also didn't have to pay for any follow up visits related to my surgery during post op treatment. it was all billed in through my insurance as a lump sum. my deductable more than made up for the 20 bucks i would have paid out of pocket each visit.

who the crap 'loves' to eat these things? with the exception of almonds (which would kill me anyway) none of the other things listed are actual 'foods. potato stems? cherry pits? rhubarb leaves? who eats this? freaks.
