  1. HIJACK: Mrs. O's...you missed a HELLUVA crab feast last Saturday! I was going to call you to come share it, but I don't have your number... I came on here lookin' for you or O's but no luck. We got 3 dozen LARGE blue crabs from our market in Austell (you really need to check it out!) they were HUGE and I steamed the bejeezus out of them! We had so many left over that we made 9 nice size MD style crabcakes on Sunday for dinner with the leftovers (which I picked for HOURS). OMG SO DELICIOUS! :D :D :D Heaven in a shell!

  2. We have been several times. It's a great way to spend a day. It's very inexpensive. They have a gift shop and a small deli/sandwich shop. It's also within walking distance of the Appalachian Grill (great food, great atmosphere). They have traveling galleries, great artwork, the hall of presidents (a signed document with all protraits going all the way back to George Washington), and many more exhibits. They have two old stage coaches. I could go on & on. We love that place.

It's definitely worth spending an afternoon. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, WSF for your input. Were you able to see everything in one day?

It sounds like a lot of fun! :)

C'MON, quit being a grouchy old man!!

Hey Mrs. O, did it help?

Thanks for trying REV, but he's got his stubborn Irish ways! :(

He needs to remember his history....my people conquered his people long ago!

Nope...I think I'm going to ask him to get me the moon....will be easier getting him to get that for me at this point! :D

  4. Adam is 24 yr. old. He's 6'7" tall. He was a wrestler and won all of his matches because he had the "reach" on his opponents. He was well respected by other wrestlers from other schools. They said he was like a spider, because he was quick taking his opponents down and pinning them....like a spider in a web. So his nic name became Spyder (spelt with a "y"...why?...I don't know...just happened).
