Here are some tips for keeping you warmer. Caulk windows, doors, dryer vents, gas lines, and anything else that exists your house that could cause air or trolls from entering.

 

Turn off and drain and water taps that are on the exterior of your house.

 

Drain any sprinkler systems you may have. They will probably need to be blown out and have an antifreeze put in them.

 

Replace your furnace filter

 

Close fireplace damper when not in use

 

Remove screen doors and replace with storm doors.

 

Make sure any water pipes that may freeze are wrapped in insulation.

 

Clean the coils under or on the back of your fridge/freezer.

 

Clean out your gutters, to allow all the snow to melt.
