JSYK If you do not get a great response on that first class, it is because we are still in school until June 5th.
Also, if a child already has the ADAP certificate can they just "skip" that part of the class?

Being employeed by UPS for 18 years then all of a sudden they cut 2500 jobs and mine was one of them, no offer to relocate or anything!! I am kinda pissed at them, however all that aside FedEx seems to be cheaper BUT Big Brown has the reputation (and numbers to prove) they are the best in the shipping business. Express is just way to damn expensive with both FedEx and UPS, I would never pay that rate.....
Edited to add, if you have Freight I suggest Conway Freight, they have a satellite office in Cartersville that services Dallas/Hiram, the service center manager Chip McLendon is awesome, the customer service folks are the best and the drivers are out of this world. The one that handles Dallas/Hiram/Rockmart is Keith Porch, he has a heart of Gold and cares about every piece of freight on his truck. I am very proud to have been part of the Conway Family for three months until they had a company wide layoff and I was one that was laid off. The tact that Conway used with their layoffs was commendable, the service center manager truely was bothered to have to lay me off, UPS on the other hand didnt give a crap about us.....
Wow I am quite surprised at that. UPS has done recent job cuts and offered everyone jobs. It might not have been in the area they wanted, but it was a job.

I love all the differences of opinion on every topic that you can find here!
I love the new coupon forum, those ladies can rock the coupons and I have learned so much from them!!!
I miss Ridge Road Retirees scanner reports. She was awesome at it and you always knew what was happening.
I agree with the option of our settings to be permanent for the turn on forum. It is a pain to go into each one every time you log off.

I was thinking of this after posting in the "weekend" thread about NASCAR. BTW, this is no SLAM against NASCAR fans at all. I'm just using it as an example.
See, I never really took the opportunity to watch NASCAR because it was not as popular when I was younger as it is today. Had I watched it on my own, I would probably enjoy it more than I do.....which is VERY little.
I love and respect my in-laws, but they crammed NASCAR down my throat for years and years and years. Every time we visited their home on the weekends, that's all that would be on the tube and the conversations centered around it. I just got SO SICK of being enslaved to watching and hearing about it that I refused to watch it at home....and do to this day.
I'm a FIRM believer of watching what I like in my home and I don't comment about what the in-laws watch at their home. HOWEVER, if they visit on the weekend while I'm treating myself to the 40th viewing of Die Hard, I'll get comments like: "You're not watching the race"!
. I reply with something smart, "Sure, as soon as Bruce Willis gets done shooting these bad guys, he'll be climbing into his Kotex Ford and cranking it up".
I have a few TV series that I refuse to watch because people have told me over and over and over again how wonderful they are. Is it just me, or are a few of you that way?
Maybe it's just me.
Y'all have a fine weekend!
I
that movie!!!

Yea i went in there store once. It was like wow. $45 dollars for a 10oz. bottle of cream makeup. I slowly stepped back.
Sephora will be a welcome addition to many who either have to order products online or go into Atlanta/Kennesaw to a bigger mall to get them.
They carry lines such as, Philosophy, Bare Escentual, Smashbox, Urban Decay, their own line, and many many more.(Including a lot of the HSN make -up artists lines) They really they carry a very wide range of make-up, lotion, and hair products that fit most budgets. (There are some cream make-ups under $20.00, so you might have been looking at a higher end brand. )

She is fostering the baby while going through the adoption process. A young girl had the baby, kept it a secret, and left it out in public to die. However, a homeless couple started taking care of it. So, at the end of the episode when Cuddy found out the girl had given birth, she went to the spot where the girl dumped the baby only to find that the homeless couple were caring for her. Cuddy brought the baby back to the hospital for the girl (who is dying at this point btw from post-birth problems). After the young mom dies, neither set of grandparents want to keep the child because it is "too tough". So, they opt to do a private adoption in which Cuddy will be the adoptive mother.
I nominate SlugPug to do all the show summaries that we have all missed.
I actually watched that one and it is a fabulous to the point review. Good job!

Can he legally do that?
What is wrong with people? Who would buy it for their child?

Will this affect the Georgia locations? I use them.
State Farm Florida is a separate business from the company. I think it was set up like that just in case something like this were to happen.
MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- Florida's largest private insurer is pulling the plug on homeowners' policies in the state, citing the losses suffered since the brutal 2004 hurricane season.
The decision by State Farm Florida comes two weeks after state insurance regulators rejected the company's request to raise rates by more than 47%. The decision means State Farm Florida - a subsidiary of national insurance giant State Farm Mutual - will no longer renew policies for its roughly 1.2 million customers in the Sunshine State.
"This is not an action we wanted to take, but one we must take given the realities of the Florida property insurance market," company President Jim Thompson said in a statement announcing the decision.
The company said it has paid out $1.21 in claims for every dollar of premiums it has collected since 2000 and suffered billions in losses after the 2004 hurricane season, when four major storms hit the state. And it said its net worth had dropped by nearly 25% since 2006 even with no major disasters.
"This is not something any business can afford to do," Thompson said.

no, they are not and also not as good as the CHI's. My daughter had one and we sold it on ebay because she kept using my Chi. So now she had her own. Uppers we are a 2 ChI family.
I bought mine last month for $75 at Folica.com This is the BEST price I have seen it for EVER. I use to work in a salon and we sold them for $120.
This is a really good deal and it comes with a warrenty
Thanks! Going to check out the website. I have to do something with this frizz!!!
-
I have course curly hair and the Chi Iron is all I will ever use!!!
I use to use cheaper ones and it would take forever with out that great results. I say Invest in a CHI..I just had to replace mine after 7 years of abuse.
Are the ones they sell in the mall carts the CHI ones? I know they are fairly high in price.

I truly hate to hear of another business not succeeding, especially when it is a locally owned one.
